I tried doing a google search for "strangest lizard on earth" and I couldn't find this guy Is this another just-discovered or is it an extinct genus? Never seen anything like it.

For starters, it isn't a lizard. It's a Protorosaur, distantly related to birds and crocodiles. That means it is extinct, and it was discovered in 1979 in northern Italy. And I'm glad I could introduce it to you! Things don't get much weirder than these critters.

Finally, one of my favorite prehistoric creatures of all time is going to be in ZT2! What animations do you plan on doing, I would suggest Tamandua if your stuck. |

I have, but Drepanosaurus was the best extinct animal long before Trey heard of it. I actually had the opportunity of explaining something to the explainer- I pointed Kyrgyzsaurus out to him in response to his discussion of the lack of Drepanosaur skin remains in the fossil record. He was very nice, too.
Actually, I'm trying my hand at making an all-new animation set. But if that flops I'll be doing lizard animations- Aardvark animations don't move the right way. The spine moves up and down instead of side to side, and the legs aren't positioned right.

WOW! What an incredible animal! This is so great and I cannot wait to see it ingame Great job! (No Doge-like style, cause repeating "wow" is technically seen as spam)The skin is as jaw-dropping, as was the croc.

Good luck with creating new animations! I know from experience that it's extremely hard to get it just right, and it's very easy to give up after only just beginning

*coughprotorosaurcough* @Jem: Yeah, it can be a bit difficult. I think I'm getting the hang of it, though; I've got most of the major animations done, I just need to do the turns, transitions, and some of the specialized animations and stuff. And of course, exporting and whatnot. I dread the exporting. |

Stop animating further and make sure you can export a working prototype! That can save you a lot of trouble. If you're still working with the old blender especially, you have to be very careful with Bip01, Bip01 NonAccum. The new one has more robust scripts that should work in most cases.
