Wow an amphycionid! What biome are you planning on putting it in, I'd either go with montaine, Mediterranean scrub, scrub, dry rainforest, or Boreal Forest.

Thanks for making a bear-dog, the Amphicyonidae family has been pretty forgotten so far, and is also nice to have a wider variety of Miocene extinct fauna in ZT2.

Which amphicyon species is it, by the way?

Amphicyon! Cool!

I do agree that the tail looks a little thin though... and the skin is a bit bland; going by that picture, the one rearing up on its hind legs, or the one right below it would make nice skins in my opinion.

Love the Amphicyon, keep up the good work! Also I think Savanna or grassland would be a good biome choice.

Nice bear-dog! Great job! ZT2 was lacking in pre-pleistocene carnivorans BTW.
Ad biomes: temperate forest should also be OK, perhaps not as the main biome.

I'm not entirely sure, atm it's just coded from HENDRIX's Syrian brown bear and I'm yet to alter it's biome needs, but I'm guessing it'll probably be something like that.

@ Komodo, species, A. ingens.

Anyone know what biomes A. ingens preferred?

Seeing as how A. ingens is known from Miocene Southern and Central U.S (Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico) I would guess semi-desert or temperate forest would be the most approppiate biome choices.

Scrub, mediterranean scrub and temperate forest with the last as main, maybe some compatibility to dry forests IMHO.

Hallelujah! Bless you dude, bless you forever! Imma worship you like a god for making this awesome and much-needed prehistoric mammal! :worship: It looks positively AMAZING! Even though Zoo Tycoon 2 is almost a decade old(the last expansion pack- Extinct Animals was released on 18th October 2007), only 1 person has made a bear-dog before you. My(and possibly others') prayers have finally been answered! I can't wait to download and unleash this bad boy on my Miocene herbivores and zoo guests. (laughs evilly) So far the only prehistoric predatory mammals we have are saber-toothed cats, entelodonts, marsupials and Andrewsarchus(I don't count bears, other felines and dire wolves, since they are basically slightly different modern day animals). About time we have some amphicyonids, creodonts, hyaenodonts and mesonychids as well. Speaking of which, could you(and/or anyone else) please make a Sarkastodon, Hyaenodon and Megistotherium as well? It would be good if they are all released together in a ''Cenozoic Carnivorans'' pack. Funny thing is I once saw a good-looking Megistotherium and 2 Hyaenodons, however all three projects have been abandoned, forgotten and never released. D: I'll only show a picture of the Hyaenodon as proof, since the other 2 are already on this website/forum and that would be redundant spamming. Thank you. Good luck and best of wishes. ;)
ZT2 Thailand Hyaenodon(never finished and released)

TheCrismonFKing666, you have already been asked not to pester designers and avoid using their topics to post your own unrelated suggestions - there is a wishlist section for that. Consider this an actual warn.

On another matter, I really love the bear-dogs ^^ Been a while since we've needed those.

First of all, it is pestering.
Secondly, it is too long to read.
Thirdly, do it yourself, nobody here survived for more than a year without any modding skill.

Btw, the best dog for looks nice~
