The brown on the legs doesn't blend well with the dark brown on their bodies. It looks kind of tacked on. It's just too stark of a color difference in my eyes. It's less noticeable in the babies, but that adult it is very noticeable. For reference, I'm talking about the difference in the brown at the shoulders and hips not fitting well with the dark marking on the body. It kinda makes it look like it's wearing a panda vest, rather than being panda-like. Edited by MonsterHunterGarth, Sep 27 2017, 03:41 AM.

Really liking how the Amphis are coming along... just wondering, but are the tails animated by any chance? I'm guessing no, since they appear to be cloned from bears, but it doesn't hurt to ask. |

My favorites are the ones with panda-like markings. Great job with the variants! |

I see what you mean now, but don't pandas themselves have strong contrast between the dark and light parts of their bodies? |

I honestly find it to be a very refreshing vibrant [for a mammal] colouration. I love it

Plus contrasted coloring can break up a large predator's outline and make it harder to recognize. |

Yes, but Pandas are two colors, not three. .3. Perhaps just darkening the limbs a little to make them mesh more with the dark panda markings already present? I mean, if the brown were present elsewhere on the body in some manner it might make the colors flow better. Either one would work quite well, I'd say. That looks good. Overall a creative color scheme for the beast. I like how it's turning out! |

Much better. It reminds me of a Panda/Grizzly/Wolverine/Mountain Lion/Wolf hybrid now. XP |

Yeah, much much better. The fur seems to be a one-piece now! And these new variants are great! Should bear-dogs be social (like most dogs) or not (like bears) (any paleontological excavations are known to stand for?)? |
