or just an edited/distorted photo of a cetacean, large, hairless, generally greyish animals well known for being spotted near the surface and for having blowholes.
Large though?, its only one foot long according to the person who saw it.
Could be just a head of a young cetacean that got beheaded in some way or as AGA said an edited or distorted photo of one. By the way there's no way an Ambulocetus would be just 1 foot long.

Okay but the fact that no one is sure of the size makes this less credible. Some say three foot, some say one, some say six and beyond!

Rat snake is love... Rat snake is life

We don't actually know how an Ambulocetus actually looked like TBH. The depiction we see everywhere on the internet or even WWB are all speculation. The actual Ambulocetus might actually looks nothing like the depiction we are familiar with. For example, they might be actually covered in thick fur like otter, or has lots of wrinkles on the skin like walrus.... It's all just can't be confirmed.

Back to the cryptid's picture.... My thought is that, the animal is probably some kind of cetacean or big eel or fish that its photo get distorted by light, movement or even edited in computer.

aquazam, bumping topics that have been inactive for over a month is against the rules, which I suggest you to read since you seem new to the site.
