I think the skull could be slightly elongated. And also the body could have less thick of fur. This species was living in a warmer climate than its smaller companion. But overall dude it looks great! |

Smilodon Populator's was notably more robust than its north american relatives, hence why i slightly thickened the skull and limbs. As for the fur, its funny you mention it, as the main changes on the texture were made using the fur of a serval, a species that lives in rather warm climates itself, now if you mean the alphas, i just tought they looked good so i decided to keep them, as tigers and bobcats (who both live on some pretty hot habitats) have long-ish fur in the same regions and it doesn't really hinders them in any significant amount. |

Beautiful work on the Smilodon. Can't wait to try the large sabre toothed feline in-game. Also if you are taking suggestions. A Cave bear, Bison latifrons, Mammoth, Pronghorn, American camel, Stilt-legged llama, California tapir, Western horse or Dire wolf could be pretty useful. But regardless of what's next I know for a fact it will be amazing |

If you take suggestions a South American Gomphotere like Stegomastodon/Notiomastodon, Haplomastodon or Cuvieronius, would be great, if you wish to continue to do Felids I would recommend Machairodus, Megantereon or the American Lion/Panther. Has anybody ever done a Doedicurus remake? Edited by babehunter1324, Aug 26 2015, 06:05 AM.
