The eggs are coded as poo but the gift for the rabbit is the exact same egg so I like to think that the zookeepers collect them to sell to the guests.

Here are the last LOTR riding animals (the pack will be called 'LOTR_Oromildar') and Spec World - the poles. I will be posting them sometime today so they will be available to download shortly at Zoo tycoon Wildlife.

I am currently finishing up the remake of Awesome Australia. Its going to be finished quickly because in most cases I simply need to replace the model and skin and can use the original coding. As a result I have already finished Awesome Aves and Devilish Dasyures (which should already be in the upload section of Zoo tycoon Wildlife) and am halfway through Dreamtime Delights.

In all cases I am going to add at least one bonus animal. For Awesome Aves it is the Australian Masked Owl. I meshed the legs of this owl to create a barn owl model that I hope will be of use in the community. For Devilish Dasyures I omitted the Tasmanian Devil as I felt I could not improve of the Hispa Designs remake version and added the Kultarr as an actual animal and the Southern Marsupial Mole.

Here is a compilation of all the animals in Awesome Aves. Note that in game there are at least three variant skins per bird and the one shown here is just the default. The Satin Bowerbird does not use the nest no matter how many times I messed with the coding but it is decorative and appears in the bird's shelter menu.

All of the models used for Devilish dasyures have been modified by me but I am most proud of my Fat-Tailed Dunnart remake. It is by far the most extensively meshed animal I have ever made. The species has always reminded me of a tiny fox so I tried to make it out of DM's bat-eared fox but the result looked to canine and he furry tail was problematic. So I attempted the same modification on the Blue Fang fennec instead and it was perfect.

I also like how my Spotted Quoll came out, a big improvement over the original...

While no longer considerd a dasyurd I also added the Southern Marsupial Mole to the pack. I made it from DM's hedgehog...

Well these are the highlights of the packs. I think I will add two more to Awesome Australia one of bandicoots and one for placental mammals. Enjoy.

Nice work on the animals, Tamara, I'm especially fond of the eagle.
And congratulations the dunnart mesh, although isn't it a bit too "pointed" ?

The Download Lady

I like your work a lot but I have to say I am a little disappointed by the species choice in the bird pack. We already have an Australian Bushturkey, Wedge-tailed Eagle, Laughing Kookaburra, Fairy Blue Penguin, Crested Dove, Superb Fruit Dove, and Emerald Dove, so effectively there are only four new animals (I love the bowerbird though).

Of course this would arise the discussion of "Yes but a designer can do whatever they want, even if it has been done before", yes that's true but honestly everyone likes variety, it's much more interesting to have three different pigeon species than have three versions of the same. Also I don't feel any of those I listed needed replacing, not sure if you disagree with me on that, or you just were not aware that there was already a version available.

I'm sorry if you are offended by this, as I said I don't want to rise an argument but I feel like I needed to say this.

Anyway keep up the good work, looking forward to see what you bring us next :)

They had been made before so then to have a remake :whack:
And that is the remake of AVES so it suppose there should not be any new animal involved but TH include one.

Maybe if you feel disappointed, I suggest you to make some new birds for revenge xD

Well, for myself I only can say, that I would love to have at least the doves without bugs. Cause I really play with them ingame and am annoyed, that they freeze when they want to fly or move to somewhere.

I made the original Awesome Aves way back when only Blue Fang models were available. It was one of the first bird packs ever for Zoo Tycoon 2. As this was a remake it seemed wrong to replace to many species but I did change the common Lyrebird to the Albert's species.

This is why I make each animal a separate download, so you can use whichever version of an animal you want.

I don't have that problem with the doves, maybe there is a download interfering?

I have just uploaded the remake of Dreamtime Delights. A remake of all six original ice age animals plus a bonus animal. This is a major improvement over the original. All are PD except for the kangaroo and koala which are Aurora designs (who deserve a big thanks for letting me use their models for this project).

Giant Echidna (Megalibgwilia ramsayi), an extinct spiny anteater...

Posted Image

Giant Flamingo (Phoenicoptius eyrensis), the biggest flamingo ever...

Posted Image

Giant Kangaroo (Macropus ferragus) the tallest kangaroo ever...

Posted Image

Giant Koala (Phascolarctus stirtoni), the largest koala ever...

Posted Image

Giant Wombat (Phascolonius gigas), the biggest wombat ever...

Posted Image

Marsupial Rhino (Zygomaturus trilobus), a diprotodont with a horn on it's nose...

Posted Image

Marsupial Tapir (Paleochestes azael), Australia's cross between a ground sloth and an elephant...

Posted Image

Speaking of extinct animals I also finished something this game has needed in a long time. Just in time for the release of Jurassic World on DVD come Jurassic Park/Dinosaur themed bouncy rides! No longer will your dinosaur zoo be cluttered up with mammalian rides to keep the kids happy. And they work too!

Finished the Dreamtime Dangers remake!

Cave Devil (Sarcophilus laniarius) the Tasmanian devil's bigger brother

Killer Kangaroo (Ekaltadeta ima) new interpretation of the fossils as a quadruped

Posted Image

Megalania (Varanua priscus) with tree climbing hatchlings!

Posted Image

Posted Image

Mihirung (Genyornis newtoni) giant emu-duck reconstruction

Posted Image

Marsupial Fox (Nimbacinus dicksoni) the Thylacine's little brother

Posted Image

Marsupial Lion (Thylacoleo carnifex) with several variants including black and white.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Marsupial Wildcat (Wakaleo vanderleuri) Thylacoleo's Miocene relative

Posted Image

Rainbow Serpent (Wanambi naracoortensis) a snake so big it became a legend

Posted Image

Now I am doing a bonus pack for Awesome Australia which I originally started way back when but never finished due to a lack of decent models. It will be called Plentiful Placentals and will contain some iconic real placental mammals and four bandicoots, the only marsupials with a placenta.

Three of the bandicoots are done. First is the bilby. I tried meshing the ears to make them larger but they became pointed and keep reverting back to the original short ears when they move up close.

Posted Image

The Southern barred bandicoot came out really good

Posted Image

The Pig-footed bandicoot is extinct but to iconic to ignore

Posted Image

The rest of the pack will be the Australian Sea Lion, Black-Footed Tree Rat, Greater Stick-nest Rat, Grey-Headed Flying Fox, Lesser Long-Eared Bat, Northern Brown Bandicoot, and Rakali.

I am also experimenting with some more animals for the LOTR packs. Here is a wingless firedrake. I tried adding wings by blending the bat with the base model but the result crashed. I will turn it into a Smaug statue instead and just release a wingless version with the reptile pack.

Fire Drakes

What a cute face, reminds me of the dragons in the storybooks I had as a kid, the ones with big mule ears that looked nothing like the d&d inspired dragons you see now days. Speaking of storybooks while I was testing the dragons this happened...

They stood like this for over 10 minutes. Man and Dragon soulmates just like in the How to Train Your Dragon movie c:
