Is walkin' with a dead man.

So I found my old corvid pack I had created... Decided to revive and remake it!

As the bird are based of HENDRIX's common raven, I wanted them to kind of resemble the rave too... So original skin/mesh/coding is credit to HENDRIX.

To do list:

The birds I can show so far are...

...Hooded crow, also called Scotch crow, Danish crow, and grey crow...

...Eurasian magpie, also called simply magpie...

...and the rook, a bird common in mythology.

(Sorry for the back boarders on the pictures, to lazy to remove them)

Now, my friends, I would love to get some help with a few things:
1. The eye lids. I know there's a glitch, but I can't seem to be able to solve it...
2. Ideas biomes for the birds I've listed.
3. Help on how to make custom animal markers, as they currently have the EE ones.
4. Help on how to add these under a special filter :P

Any critique are most welcome!

The birds look pretty good, but what's with that untextured-looking patch on the rook's throat? It doesn't seem accurate to the real thing and it looks unfinished; is it?

The others look great though, especially the magpie.

I'll work on it a bit more, I kinda agree that the shape is kinda off, but it is textured actually:

It's supposed to be the skin parts that's visible on the real rooks:

Thanks for the input though :D

I would suggest lifting that section from the photo directly and working it onto your UV map instead of painting in a patch of grey and trying to texture it after-the-fact. Might help.

Yeah it could use a bit more texture, just like MiBound says, but it's a very needed species, thanks for making! :D

So, I took the advice and actually took from the picture... And here's the result:

Also, there's a new birdie I wanna show: the collared crow, also known as the ring-necked crow or white-collared crow, is a bird native to China.

The skins of the collared crow need some retouching as well as another skin (all other birds have three so this one should also have that).

As before, to lazy to remove the black parts from the pics :V

The skin looks a lot better now that you used the texture from the photo. Great job!

I agree with Frida, it was nice before, but this is looking good. Also the collared one is looking very good :) Well done.

Is walkin' with a dead man.

Hello again everyone :)

I've been busy because of life, but I've managed to at least make a new little bird and fix the sizes on them all. I still have the blinking problem with them though, so they all look exreamly tired lol
There's also a few thoughs on my mind; I'm thinking of releasing these with a new food item, but I dunno how to code that. I'm also thinking of doing so they cannot breed, mostly due lazyness of doing baby birds but also due the fact their eggs have crashed the games before...

Anyways, hope you enjoy them :)

Introducing the new bird: Western Jackdaw, these birds are found all over the place where I live and their calls sometimes echo through the summer nights.

Size comparing (but a very bad one), from left to right: Collared crow, Western jackdaw, Rook, Common rave (HENDRIX's one, who all the birds are based of), Eurasian magpie and Hooded crow.

They are pretty good looking! I would prefer them being able to breed, but that is my personal opinion. Do what ever you prefer.
