Hey people of the Round Table! It's great to meet you all! My name is Tyler, I am currently 14 of the time of this posting, and I'm really glad to be here! A little bit about myself, I've been playing Zoo Tycoon 2 since I was around 4-6 years old and I was always interested in modding the game. Unfortunately, I wasn't tech savvy in the slightest back then, and the process of modding ZT2 always sort of amazed me as it was simply something I couldn't do or grasp. I made do with the official expansions and watching videos about ZT2 mods on YouTube, but I always tried to look up how to mod the game. The first and only mod I ever downloaded was MMM's Jurassic Park Pack, as it was and is simply an installation menu, and, to be honest, I was and still am a pretty big JP fan boy, so that mod was high on my list. That was the only mod I ever managed to acquire, and over the years, my physical copy of the three ZT2 Ultimate Collection disks became so scratched and damaged to the point where I couldn't ever reinstall the game, as my naive and young kid self didn't know how to keep disks intact. Because of this, I eventually drifted away from the game and just forgot about it altogether. Fast forward now with me to 2015, about 5-7 years later. I was surfing the internet and, out of curiosity, googled Zoo Tycoon 2. Some of the first links I found were to Amazon.com, and out of curiosity, I clicked on it. I checked all over the website and found just about every expansion pack and variation of the game, including the first Zoo Tycoon game. I was ecstatic at the thought of revisiting the game, and after a bit of bartering, I finally managed to order the game for a super cheap price. It arrived on the 27th of December, I believe, and since then, I've been binge playing and modding the game. I've really enjoyed revisiting the game, and when it comes to modding, I've been visiting this site and associated members quite often, so, rather than just reading forum posts and surfing through mod threads, I decided to make an account and jump into the wonderful community that I've only observed here as a guest up until this point. Anyways, thank any of you who actually read that wall of text, if there's anything else you want to know about me, go ahead and PM/respond to me, and hopefully, we can all become good friends in the future. See you all on the forums!

Hello! I'm new here too. I've also got a long history with this game franchise, I can remember how excited I was as a little whelp when I opened ZT1 on Christmas Day when I was about 5. Have you ever gotten the chance to play Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis? It's also quite fun and has a wonderful (although a bit more niche) modding community. (:^)

Multiple times, yes! JP:OG is definitely one of my favorite tycoon games of all time. I still own my physical copy for PC, and I play it quite often! It's much different when it comes to modding, but still, quite an enjoyable experience. It's also much more enjoyable than the console version as it has larger limits, and they can be even larger if you edit the game files, which I just figured out how to do a few months ago. Anyways, thanks for responding! I'm already feeling welcome and happy in this new community!

I just recently got my copy resurfaced at my friendly neighbourhood gamestop and sweet lord, I almost forgot how much fun it is! The lady there looked at me funny when I asked, like I was the biggest nerd in the world (she's probably right) but I've been really enjoying it ever since I added the Genesis Expansion Project. As for responding, no problem! I'm looking to make new friends and establish myself in this community so I can share my creations and art with everyone who's interested. It's been fun taking screenshots and stuff in my spare time, and I've been thinking about posting some building tutorials. Nice meeting you, hope to see you around!

A piece of toast and a terminator.

Hi! I'm TheToastinator. :)

I also play JP:OG with DJE, PMEP, and the Forgotten (but I screwed up the Indominus files and I'm trying to reinstall the packs. :P ).

(Quick question- Do you know about the Prehistoric Kingdom or the PK Forum?)

I use those exact same mods, and I love em'! And yes I do. I'm actually a member there. As a matter of fact, I saw this guy's signature on the site, and thought it was funny, so I decided to recycle it for this site. Have you seen my name there XD?

Also, I got your PM, but whenever I try to send a PM it gives me a message that says I'm not allowed to send a PM and Error Code: 18039:6041738. I just need to get to 25 posts.
