The drill's initial image looks really promising. Can wait to see the textures of the skin.

Thank you all! I´m so happy you like the drill so far.

I worked a bit more on this guyand have some progress with the skin.

I failed with the dominance coding so I changed the model to the massive dominant version. I prefer this version, at least I had a much harder time finding pics for weak drill males than weak mandrill males.

Another thing is the model. I can´t alter it so it doesn´t fit the distinguish features of the drill which is different on the ridges of the nose. You can see the problematic area marked in the picture.

I think the drill looks nice nonetheless but if anyone is able to edit the model (and has time and would like to help) it would be very welcome!
Same for the dominance coding.

I played around with gimp and so I have a pack of 6 little birds ready for you, all passeriformes from the family Thraupidae (= tanager family).

Credits to samuel (green headed tanager) and hendrix (eurasian jay)

Download TanagerPack
(you find single animal downloads on the first page of this topic if you don´t want the whole pack)

Notes:
- sadly just copied icons (I can´t make custom icons)
- 4 species with different skins for male and female, young birds use adult skins
- in english and german (no zoopedia, just the ingame names)
- compatible with all biomes
- no space requirements (also elevated paths are fine)
- no privacy need
- you get 80% money back by selling
- coded for the following filters: my projects filter, family (passerines) and continents

Splendid bird, one of the suggestions I made to Batty on her thread, I must cancel it right now. ;)

It was on my wish list too. Could you do a hooded mountain tanager?

Yes I can. From the google pics it should be rather easy. To be honest I did only the first species, the summer tanager, using pics of the real animal. The other species are in the end just color variants and therefore easy to make. Only the golden tanager has also a "direct-from-pic-part" with the back and part of the wing.

I just started with the summer tanager for PU and made the others in a rush. But I think they turned out well for made up in such a short time.

Thanks for all the nice comments. :)
