I'm going to stop you right there before you try and use a condition to justify yourself. |

Quick heads up here, adult elephants are actually quite hairy. It's actually more an illusion due to the pattern and texture of their skin, it all seems as if they're devoid of hair, while the reality is quite different. Here's a nice comparison of Asian vs African elephant body hair. The hairs are shorter, which gives the illusion they're not hairy, but they're still mostly covered in hairs. These are used as "rods" to cool down the skin and blood of the animals. Not that the argument that dinosaurs who had feathers as a young and scaly reptilian scales has ever been supported by any real evidence or biological sense, but I just wanted to point out the misconception on elephants and their "bald" skin

PrimevalBrony, I would suggest you think about what you want to post and make sure it couldn't sound rude/exagerate/whatever to others before posting it. This would save everyone discussions like this. Now I'd appreciate if we got back to the original topic subject. |
