If you want to get technical haramiyidans are another group of late living non-mammalian cynodonts, which got to see the very end of the Mesozoic. |

I heard somewhere that there was one kind of non-mammalian cynodont- Chronoperates, I think it was- that made it all the way to the palaeocene. How does that compare with this fellow? |

Is a true mammal within Holotheria. Haramiyans could have survived int the Paleocene - there's enough of a gap in India. |
