Thank you for all the comments guys! Sorry for not posting frequent updates, I haven't been doing too much with ZT2 directly. I've kinda been bored of zoo tycoon 2, and finally have been able to play JPOG... so I've kinda become addicted... but I figured I would return to answer questions, and thank yous.
Yes and no. In the case of Diplodocus: I've reduced Diplodocus' polygon count to a level I would be comfortable porting it to zt2 with. I'll have to check the proportions to see if they match up well enough with Hendrix's sauropod animations. I know I have a B. louisae that matches up perfectly with his apato.....(needs heavy retopology and a texture) In the case of Brachiosaurus: ![]() I have been doing more work on it... In case you are wondering how tall it would be ingame, I ported the prior iteration of it into Zoo Tycoon 2 as a statue and it was roughly the height of a level 6 wall with the bent neck. I also might not have not made a new model of something I was not not promising to make at the beginning of this channel or not, and it might not or not be fitting a certain animation set better or not. Thank you so much for your reply, I hope I didn't rush you. I'm excited to see your sauropods and hope they make it through the process OK. I love the brachiosaurus textures and I love the work your doing. Edited by Dracorex, Jan 29 2018, 11:55 AM.

I'm not dead, so please stop poking me with a stick.![]() I've been doing more stuff for my deviantart so I haven't been working on much ZT2 stuff. In my absence I have noticed some issues with my textures that make me want to redo the boreal foliage to some degree. I'm likely going to release all the pine remakes as one file when I am done. The model for the Western red cedar is 48 meters (157ft) tall. This makes it taller than the dawn redwood, but shorter than my Giant Sequoia remake. The model fits a lot better into the base game than the redwood surprisingly. In game shot

Updated treemakes and a new tree![]() I shortened the trees a bit and made them less wide proportionately so they would fit a bit better in zt2. They are better representatives for their species' average heights as well. (They are still decently tall) All animals in the image are at the moment posed statues. the primary biome of each tree is displayed under them Download White alder Download current version of trees Edited by Paleop, May 7 2018, 01:34 PM.

Yaeh, the trees are awesome, so RR-like! We need more real-like foliage in ZT2. |
