I may in the future. I was planning on rigging this to one of the raptor animations (I think veloci is better, but I don't know about utahraptor) and maybe an alt version that uses hendrix's animations. at least for now. I may try to make my own animations for it in the future. Edited by Paleop, Feb 12 2017, 01:53 PM.

Great job. I was worried about the T. rex arms in the earlier ones but they seem to be much better in the update. Are you drawing inspiration from another T. rex rendition or is this original to you? |

This is a completely new model. I made a line art using a skeletal made by a friend, and that's what I'm using as reference. I did take some inspiration from the saurian rex etc. ![]() but this is my rex reconstruction.

Aha! The Saurian rex is what I was thinking of, not to say your work has no originality to it I'm a fan. And you've really captured the profile and overall feeling of the dinosaur in a way I've not seen yet. No shade on other designers, I know it's not easy work. The lips are a good addition, btw

Pointing this out since I assume you used it as a reference, the Tarbosaurus throat impressions despite often being described as such do not imply any sort of dewlap or expanding feature, nor were they necessarily bare. |

I know this Edit: I am experimenting and may change the throat to have feathers. And I do admit it was copying saurian a little. I will post an update when the line art modifications are done etc. Edited by Paleop, Feb 12 2017, 07:45 PM.

Also, when in edit mode, go into Shadings/UV on the side, select all the vertices and make the faces smooth. |

Using solid shading for modelling often helps, as it display some the topology much more clearly;) Good Job on this model, Keep it up

This is great! I'm not normally interested in dinosaurs, but your model looks neat so far and the color scheme concept looks awesome. I can't quite put my finger on why, but it might be one of my favorite dinosaur concepts ever. Keep it up
