Oh that looks really cool! Are the animals still able to interact with the trees? The last one in particular i use a lot because animals do use it to rest or climb.

The zoopedia is a little anemic, but I do plan to fix up all my releases when I release my project filter.
This coast redwood is an edit of a reskin of an old spruce model that was going to be used for the black spruce. I wasn't going to release this at first, but since I made a Dawn redwood bark texture I figured I could make this presentible looking enough to release.

I will try my best to maintain the intractability. I'm always looking for advice on how to do this stuff.
I was able to keep the rub functional for the pine trees ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

EDIT: I forgot to add a custom icon, will be fixed in the next release

No good hero is a one-trick phony.

Ooooh I'll put a forest of them in my next zoo. Makes sense enough. Thanks for the release!

By the way, I don't think the tamarack or black spruce remakes made it into the file for the first treemake pack you released? I haven't looked in the file yet, but they don't show up in my game.

I think that's a zoopedia issue. Is your game not english?

My game is in English. How bout I look around for a second and pm if I can't figure it out?

Edit: fixed the issue. Turns out everything's there, I just had to put some ZZZs in front of the file name.

Someone said this month seemed somewhat akin to a month of prehistoric trees due to the efforts of a few designers.
In honor of that notion:
Let's bring back another tree from Dinosaur Digs!

The Norfolk island pine works great in dinosaur exhibits. The biome to put it in was a sort of toss up between coastal and temperate forest. (subtropical humid forest is not in the game atm). The dawn redwood is a little large for most exhibits, but might be very usefull when used as a decorative or background tree.

-both trees are listed under temperate forest and extinct animals

I've fixed up some things with the three remade boreal trees and will release them as soon as I get their xcfs up to date.

In the meanwhile I have a narrow faced roof to work on.

History is indeed little more than the register of the crimes, follies, and misfortunes of mankind.

Wow, thanks for the release :)

I've been working on the tree remakes for a while, while they are 99% done I have hit a snag. While I managed to fix the balsam fir's placement grid, and added something to the Tamarack (a colossal thank you to Iben!), I cannot fix the model's size in the ui preview. I've tried to fix it a few times and I'm not sure what is causing the problem. It appears that that specific chunk of code is being ignored. The only thing I can think of that would conflict might be radical remake, but I am not sure that is the case.

This will be the final release of the pack for a long time. After I release this version I will work on remaking other foliage.

Speaking of which:

Palms in the Triassic? Nope, flowering plants appeared about 150 million years later.
