Not sure if this is in the right section, but, lets talk about these pseudofossils, "fossils" that aren't actually fossils, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudofossil How many times have people found a Manganese Dendrite and thought they have actually found prehistoric plant remains? I used to do that, but I've learned enough about them by now to distinguish them from true fossils when I find them. |

Antique stores around here sell those all the time even though they could probably find something if they really wanted to. Kind of annoying really, you look for hours only to find basically nature's bootlegs. |
