Very nice. A little overly ambitious in terms of funding, perhaps, especially since you don't go into any real depth with the storylines. But I assume you have more ideas for them that you haven't shared.

Although I have to say, a Hell Creek episode where Tyrannosaurus doesn't even make an appearance is absolutely unprecedented and will probably be difficult to pitch to a developer.

If you plan to get this to the point where film directors will actually pay attention to it, then yes, you do need to do that to a degree. Don't focus on narration and what channel it's going to air on- that's going to be WELL outside your realm of control, anyway. Even before the storylines, though I would suggest finding something that makes your documentary unique- something that will grab the attention of producers. Present dinosaurs in a way that no one has before.

I actually imagined the second part of the 9th Episode paying tribute to Grave of The Fireflies with two Triceratops siblings struggling to survive in the aftermath of the K-T mass extinction event with their mother gone along with other Animals as the world around them all becomes a harsh, cold and disgusting wasteland with loads of imagery that will be symbolic to the hiroshima and nagasaki bombing

So it's kind of an allegory for human history? If that's the case I'd suggest veering away from a documentary-style show and go for more of a typical movie with a plot and stuff.

no the allegory for the hiroshima and nagasaki bombing in the 9th Episode is there to bring the point home of how devastating and brutal the K-T mass extinction truly was through comparing it to a event from Human history but on a much grander, BIGGER scale

So basically, a documentary with a moral. OK, fair enough, but nothing that hasn't been done before.

you know, us in the ZT2 community could do our own little version of this, I kind of did something a bit like this a few years ago, though I'm not doing videos again until I finish university.
here is my attempt at a dinosaur movie for ma while ago

Dinosauria series
And here is the trailer from my other series, didn't get as far as I hoped but still far enough to show the preimpact world, the impact and hell creek getting roasted.

I wanted the 9th Episode to have the K-T mass extinction event be portrayed as tragic, painful and heartbreaking as possible to the point where when You watch the Episode You will end up crying so hard and actually be scarred for life from how tragic it is to see all of those Animals suffer and die in a way that can absolutely hurt

The whole point of a documentary is to portray something in an objective, unemotional way. Otherwise, you don't have a documentary. Which is fine. But you need to make sure you're not one of the umpteenth "awesomebro" TV shows that pretend to be documentaries but are really just insipid flicks trumping up dinosaurs like movie monsters.

I would say dinosaur revolution did something like this, skipped most of the impact and focused on the aftermath as the dinosaurs struggled to survive, in vain. animal Armageddon was good for showing how horrific the actual disasters were, in terms of scale and the impact scene in last day of the dinosaurs, was nightmarinsh to say the least.

I also tired my best with my series dinodoom, mostly showing how life was like before the impact in depth, then that absolute chaos and panic of the fiery wall proceeding.
also in terms of heartbreaking and morals, the permian extinction could really hit home with some people, in relation to climate change and pollution.

a Dinosaur Documentary TV Series with the best aspects of Dinosaur Revolution and Walking With Dinosaurs merged together would be absolutely fantastic

Honestly the morals were the worst part of Dinosaur Revolution. As it was intended as a movie/series of vignettes, not an actual documentary, it pretty much any sense of education and wonder for pop-american generic stories.

An actual documentary series should depict prehistoric life as if they were modern animals. This is why the original WWD is so fondly remembered; it could get sentimental at times, but it had no clear narrative, nor were the POVs acting as anything other than wild animals.
