If you would like some constructive criticism then I'd suggest using a lighter colour for the skin, more akin to a sandy yellow, to be more natural. Also, the sail could do with some work tbh. Still, it is a very good skin.

Oh, I have a couple different colour versions. There's an albino, a yellow, an orange, a melanistic, a light red, a purple, and a blue one. Once I finalize each, I'll set them all up as variants.

As for the sail, could you elaborate?

Well it doesn't blend into the skin very well, and in fact doesn't look very real. Perhaps a clearer texture that is uniform across the sail, since the bones wouldn't exactly be showing up in the colour of the animal.

Here's all the total variants, guys.

I'll keep the info on the sail in mind.

Well, keep in mind, they are amphibians from the carboniferous.

I came up with various bright colours because of the climate. Most of these are based on a collage of various amphibians from similar climates. I might do a more multicoloured one at some point. A bicolour, or tricolor variant, essentially.

And in case it wasn't clear, the two farthest to the right on the bottom row are supposed to be an Albino, and Melanistic variant.

Are the Coloured variants references to the Prehistoric Monsters Pack Platyhystrix?

Three of the color choices yes, but the patterning and colors for the others I made because I thought they looked nice.

So, I am posting now to ask for some assistance. I don't really have the time to re-learn how to rig using the Blender method, so if there's anyone who would be willing to help me out with rigging it would be really appreciative.

P.S. Expect a post edit sometime today or tomorrow with a peak at my next mesh.

Do male and female have separate skins? I'm a little confused as to why it has two versions of each skin, and then notice one has a head pattern, whilst the other one doesn't.

I too would like to give constructive criticism.

If possible for those who may not want colorful ones. Could a single Camouflage animal be created? I saw these guys and Spongbob's voice saying "pretty patties" came into my head. The sail could have color, just it seems odd that a animal would be so many colors.

Each skin looks amazing. You're a hell of a lot better skinner than I currently am, but the "pretty patties" thing comes to mind each time.

Some species of temperate frogs can be surprising colourful.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Although perhapse the skins could be toned down, so they aren't as bright, with more brightness on the sail.

I think you mean "Pretty Platys"

Personally, I don't mind the colourful nature of the skins, but it might look better if the non-display parts of these skins are duller.

@Ulquiorra: Yes, males have facial markings, females do not.

@TDP: I can make a version where the variants are duller.

@BA/Ulquiorra2: this can be done, but may take some time.

This all may take a while, as I am currently in crunch for finals, while also still attempting to work on a second animal mesh, which unfortunately I have to redo, since Google drive decided to corrupt my file. :/
