HI everyone I wasn't sure where exactly to post this and im very sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, Recently ive re fallen in love with the game and started building zoo's. However im really interested in adding some of my own PU items to my game and wasnt sure how tomake such things?

I saw these signs by Mario in his cucamunga zoo and just wondered if anyone knew how it was possible to make signs like these?

thank you in advance

J

I'm not slow! That's just my moe!

You'd need to either mesh one yourself (not a task I'd recommend for a beginner) or find a way to make a base mesh appear transparent, thus allowing you to make new signs in entirely new shapes (I believe this is probably what was done in the example you posted). Currently if I were to take a rectangular sign and remove parts of it in an image editor (photoshop, paint.net, etc.) the parts I made transparent would appear as giant black blobs in-game, so it seems someone has probably figured out how to do it already, but I don't know how.

You'd need to add an alpha to the model to fix that.

Editing (or adding) alphas. That's quite simple to do on PS for ex. . :)
