I have a problem. When I am making the signs, it works great with mammals or aquatics that I can place outside the tank and the sign changes. For those aquatics that can only be placed inside the tank like fish the signs doesn't change. I know its a code thing. What code needs to be changed. Thanks.

Increasing the insight-qualifier in the target-block might do the trick :

Maybe you can try crating the animal and then uncrating it on land ?

Still would be better if it worked on tanks, would a inWater_OR_onLand qualifier help?

Edit: It did!

This is an early WIP ( model/skin wise at least) of a cool new shelter I made. You might notice the difference between the two hay-beds at the right. The one on the left has only been used once, the one on the right has been used 3 times so far. So depending on how often the hay bed gets used, the messier it starts to look. Just as with food ( although this isn't based on the food but on the tank filter ), you can clean it and make it morph back to the original.

Both model and skin will be changed, pretty much because I'm not satisfied with them.

My question to you guys is, how often do you think this should be refreshed ? Once a day or once a week or... ?

Once a day seems too often. I would go with once a week. Very cool looking shelter. I like it.

That's one neat feature for a shelter!
How many "messy levels" does it have ?

3 at this point ( clean, soiled, rotten), but there can be as many as you'd like :P

Hmm, perhaps a fourth "disturbed" stage (in between clean and soiled), could be a good idea. Going from clean hay to soiled hay seems a little steep.

Yet another great idea by the way. I always found it odd how animals can use a hay lined shelter as many times as they like, and not mess up the hay at all.

Also can zookeepers also replenish the hay bedding, similar to how maintenance workers clean filters (even though zoo staff in the world of ZT2 never do a good job)?

I'm working on it, but it doesn't work yet, and I don't really know why yet.
