Hi, I'm new at designing and would like to share my ongoing project(s). First off, I'm currently working on a Keichousaurus, using Tyranachu's Nothosaurus model and coded with aid from Hendrix's APE2.

Here's a preview from NifSkope:

The skin is still a work in progress, but most of the coding is done. Feel free to critique or ask questions!

Thanks. The coloration is loosely based on a female long-tailed grass lizard, though I'm probably not going to have a separate skin for the male.

Update! Some ingame pics from testing.

A below view of a Keichousaurus swimming at the surface.

And the same individual seen from above.

Finally, the completed fossil puzzle.

Most of the testing is complete, I just want to wait for them to breed since I modified the code from egg-layer to live-bearing like a real Keichousaurus and want to make sure it worked right.

Keichousaurus is on the backburner due to problems with reproduction, but I'm working on a whitemouth moray eel.

Here's a look at the skin:

I plan on starting testing later this evening.

Pretty nice, the more Morays we get, the better!

I'm mostly finished with making Cantor's giant softshell turtle, based on ZTABC's Chinese Softshell. I've actually done my first round of testing, and mostly it works fine, but it doesn't actually use the extra shelter I want it to use. I'm going to try to figure out how to make it do so, but in the mean time here's a preview of one of its skins.

There's also two other lighter, more brownish skins that are rather hard to tell apart in game since the only real difference between those two are belly color.

I am impressed with the quality of this project.

Thanks. To be fair, it's not like I made any edits to the model, it's just basic recoding and reskinning. If I were capable of meshing, I'd have probably shortened the snout some, since in Cantor's softshell the nose is a bit stubbier than in most softshell turtles. But it means a lot to me to hear that.

The more traction you get with your reskins/recodes, the more often you'll find people who can edit meshes PMing you with offers to help. Keep at it. This is super impressive :)

Cantor's giant softshell turtle is up! I added an additional variant between the dark coloration I showed you and the lighter brown.

Let's see if anyone can guess what animal I'm working on next from this portion of skin...
