It is indeed a fire eel. I'm using Whalebite's spiny eel model from the Lake Tanganyika pack. Here's a full shot from NifSkope: ![]() Unfortunately, the base animal I'm using means that it won't be able to breed, but seeing as spiny eels on the whole don't really reproduce in captivity, I suppose that could be seen as art imitating life. |

Great work, well done! Some of these animals I have never heard of before. Good luck and best of wishes.

It is already counted as pestering. As you can see fire eel is on his wishlist, just copied it, made your own wishlist and complete it yourself. |

Thanks. I'm definitely trying to keep this fun for myself. The only project that really needs "fixed" though is the Keichousaurus. Frankly, it probably would be releasable, but I don't want to put it out there with the reproduction bug. Maybe sometime I'll post on the designing help thread to see if someone can figure out where I went wrong coding it to give live birth. |

The fire eel is now available to download. I'm not currently working on anything else truly new, but I am trying, perhaps futilely, to edit the coding of Hendrix's Japanese spider crab to get it to eat, breed and generally not have everything pressing all the time. If I do succeed, I'll share the fixed version. Seeing as it's coded to be supposed to lay eggs but doesn't include an actual egg, I'll probably fix that as well. |

I'm putting the spider crab on the backburner due to sheer frustration at lack of progress. However, I'm working on a southern live oak tree that I hope to release as part of a mini-pack of foliage from the southeastern USA. Here's a peek at a few of the live oaks in-game.![]() It's based on Aurora Design's California oak, with the leaf texture recolored from their schima tree. Though it's not really visible here unless you zoom in on the image, I took several hours during the skinning to add a vein to the center of every leaf, in hopes of adding a bit of extra depth to the foliage. As far as what else will be in the pack, the only other sure thing is a cabbage palmetto using a model I'm importing from a free 3D model resource. Other plants are only 'maybes' so far, dependent on finding sufficient models, but include a sweetbay magnolia tree and Spanish moss. Feel free to suggest other possible plants and trees for the pack, though no promises on whether I'll use said suggestions. I also would be willing to consider adding thematically appropriate scenery to the pack if someone has suggestions for that. EDIT: As it turns out, I'm not certain if the AD trees I based this on are PD or not, so the southern live oak may or may not be released. I'm trying to find out whether it's possible to release or not, I will update as new information comes to light. Either way, the cabbage palmetto I mentioned is based on an imported model, not someone else's work for ZT2, so it should still eventually be released. Edited by Cowrie, Nov 3 2017, 04:22 PM.

I could have sworn I'd read all their work was PD, but when I look at the download library wiki, it doesn't specify. My mistake. On AD's website, it doesn't say who to credit for the CC foliage, so I'll ask directly on that page. Do you think I should take the image down in the meantime? |

You can probably leave the image up for now as long as you specify that it may not be released. However if you feel like it, I would recommend you start a new thread for PU projects and move it here: http://thezt2roundtable.com/forum/3859191/ It's always better to make something PU and discover that you can release it, than the other way around. |
