Humans are only 10 thousand years old though right?

Seems like National Enquirer tier story to me Dx

No good hero is a one-trick phony.

Humans are much, much older than ten thousand years, I'd say in the order of 200,000 years or so for anatomically modern humans.

The evidence is definitely eye-catching but the issue is it doesn't fit into the current narrative of human dispersion. That doesn't rule out the possibility of the theory being truth, but it does call for further study.

Honestly there have been so many upheavals in Anthropology this week that I'm somewhat less skeptical than I would usually be. As intriguing as this is, however, I think further research is needed.

Wow. That definitely changes a lot of things about anthropology and prehistory if that's true.

My bad, earliest evidence for "cultural" humans is 44,000 years. 10,000 is something related to religion is all I can find on where I may have heard that from.

I mean according to young earth creationists the Earth is between 6 and 10 thousand years old. But yeah no hate, we all make mistakes.
