I prefer using the gharial from crocodylia than the one in the CC made by AD ! :)
Thanks, although I did not do the crocodylia gharial, it is by HENDRIX but I get the idea XD

Now seriously, this is not a competition, my sharks will work with a different codename to not be incompatible with those of AD, live the diversity

By the way, taking into account their size, how many vertices do you think are correct for the whale shark? I am suffering a lot to do the details, already 3 versions and all overpoly

My friend, I just want to drop in and congratulate you for your absolutely splendid new sharks. I think of all the iterations they have gone through, now you really got them spot on. Really makes me miss all the fun we had developing stuff together!

And like I told you so many times before, you would be more than welcome to release them under the AD moniker. 😜

The remaining RR sharks are only bare old models, have been for years and it doesn't look like that would change any time soon.

Zeros, I admire that you are comfortable with doing your own remakes even considering the possibility of being "eclipsed" as it were by AD (although per Hendrix's words, it seems quite unlikely.) It strikes me that you design for the fun of it, rather than for appearances, which is really cool. That being said, I think it is essentially agreed in this community that you are the champion when it comes to sharks. Each one that you release is better than the last.
Of course, I don't want you to feel pressured to keep producing. You doing what is comfortable is not only best for you, it is best for all of us too. Thank you for all of your hard work so far!

If I had more time I would design more, I have things pending, but the sharks are very comfortable to do, it takes about 3 or 4 hours as much to make one and I use the little free time I have, but soon you will see something of mine that is not a shark although it also has fins.

Thank you very much for your words, I left you with the seal, but the animations take away too much time and I am very frustrated, although one day we will finish it.

AD is too dazzling for me, many eyes watching and too many expectations, I prefer to see what youth is capable to do, you have much better designers than I, And sharks are really basic models but I appreciate the respect.

And ... for all the impatient here you have a teaser, probably not the final model but you can see that I'm working on it:

Well that's the first time I've seen a whale shark from that angle. Looks hypeful

Great white's aren't that flat, mate. xD

Pretty sure that's either a Whale, or a Basking.

Any chance of prehistoric sharks? I'd love to see Cladoselache, Helicoprion and Stethacanthus personally... they're all so different from anything you'd see today.

For that reason, regardless of the quality of what may be coming soon, I will re-make my own versions of the whale shark and the white shark and i'll share them, maybe no one will use them, but it does not really bother me
By remake do you mean reskinning the Blue Fang models? ...or creating entirely new animals? Because I hope it will be the former. Making duplicates of animals already in the game seems kind of redundant, doesn't it?

Speaking of remakes and reskins, any chance of reskinning Blue Fang's Scalloped Hammerhead Shark, but as a different species of Hammerhead? JimmyzHoopz released a nice Scalloped Hammerhead in his American Adventures pack, and I'd rather not have to pick one over the other if possible.

I do not usually make prehistoric animals.

The second part ... I'm not very clear what you mean, maybe you should see a little back on topic to see the grat hammerhead.

AD will make remakes sooner or later of the original sharks (with the original codename), I will make my own remakes with a different codename to avoid incompatibilities (if you think the model above is the BF original there is something I am not doing well)

For anyone who doesn't like having duplicates, it's very easy to code an animal to override the BF original. Just edit the codename to be the same is that of the BF animal. There may be a little more to it than that, but I'm pretty sure it's that simple.

What I mean is, would it be possible to change the Blue Fang Scalloped Hammerhead into an entirely different species of Hammerhead? Give it a new model, reskin it, change the name, the Zoopedia, and so on, to make it an entirely different animal in game so as not to be just another Scalloped Hammerhead Shark.

I ask because there are remakes of some animals--in this case JimmyzHoopz has made a new Scalloped Hammerhead Shark--and I wouldn't want two versions of the same animal. Of course, I wouldn't want it to be another Great Hammerhead either (since you already made one and it is awesome) but I'm sure there are other hammerheads out there.

But... from the looks of it, you aren't planning on remaking Blue Fang's models here, are you?

But doesn't that require renaming everything? Including the .nif files, which so far I've found won't open for me even in NifSkope?

The model above is a whale shark, So yes, I am going to do at least two, whale shark and white shark, the blacktip and goblin are not necessary at all, The scalloped... you already have the jimmyhoopz's one as well you say, and there are many more species of hammerheads interesting, although for now I prefer to vary the shark species, I also have a model of a hammerhead shark but with no hammer xD.

As for coding, you do not need to open the nifskope, just make a good model and a good skin and change the name, all this can be done only with blender and APE2. I take the opportunity to remember that my models and skins are for public use, you can use the mokarran to make a scaloped without much effort. From there you can codify them as a replacement of the original or as a new animal as you prefer.

Just out of curiosity, but what ever happened to that Down Under pack you were working on? You teased a Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby and a Central Bearded Dragon... any chance of those ever being finished and released?
