Well... it is fantastic! And because evryone asks about old projects and wether there will be an update: What about the seawings? o:)
as dino says, is a problem of animations, there aren't today suitable animations for seabirds, could be done without them? of course, but I do not know if the qualitative leap would be enough for that it's worth it, Could I make new animations? yes, but without acrimony, people who have never done animations can not understand how heavy it is, each type of locomotion include animations, to that must be added static animations, behavioral and transitions, taking into account that seabirds move by land, air, water and underwater translated into sets of animations comes to be something like: stand, lie, perch, walk, run, eat, drink, sleep, treadwater, swim, eatwater, treadwatersub, swimsub, fly, glide (water, sub and air)... in short, I calculate not less than 500 animations, is an exaggerated hard work for one person and unfortunately the animators do not abound in the community, on the other hand, it does not move a cormorant like a seagull so maybe some animations could be used but many others do not, I would love to do it but I do not have the time or the courage to do so much work

Perhaps someday, a group of animators can get together and do animations for seabirds and waterfowl. I know I've been hoping to see some good duck animations for a long time- I think the ducks we have now are great, but the lack of wings is still just... sad... to me. They are missing a lot without their wings.

But you are right, a lot of animations can't be used for the different groups of water birds. Ducks don't move like a seagull, and which neither move like a cormorant, auk/puffin, a pelican (which could use new animations too), gannet, or a petrel.

But if they ARE ever made, they will be a huge asset to this community (if they are PD). Any bird animations are needed- look at how much Hendrix's Eurasian Jay/Passerine animations are used!

It's a shame that the original ZT2 (and even the original ZT) really overlooked birds. I know mammals are the big draws in zoos, but there are so many cool birds out there...

Yeah the animations for water birds are bad, many of the ducks don't have wings, probably because most ducks use dodo animations (the dodo swimming animation(s) is/are somewhere accurate for a duck), however the dodo can't fly, so the wings are sacrificed. Then again the AD:CC korhaan uses ostrich animations and has custom flying animations IIRC, so new animations using existing sets could be possible.

Do you think you will incorporate model variants with the horn?
