Actually, me and Tyranachu had this conversation when we were fangirling eagerly awaiting your animal releases. He said that the spider animations, only slowed down, might work well, and I said that turtle animations might also work too. I don't think either would be inherently perfect but I'm sure there could be something you could rig it to.

Only if you want to, though! I don't mind if it's an object or an animal, I'll use it.

You can try rigging it to spider animations and have it slowed down. :)

@Serpyderpy&Tyranachu: I did think of the spider animations, I'll consult Zoker to see if it's possible to slow the animations. If the legs look good it won't be an issue if the rest doesn't move, at least will do until custom animations come into scene. Still, it probably won't be a functional animal in this part since Zoker is busy with the other ones I sent.

Today I got to finish the Megasquid's texture and I made all the needed adjustments. Here's the finished model and finished texture:

And how it looks in-game with a posed sculpt for the diorama:

Also, I must have been really tired yesterday when I said the Megasquid was going to be the last model I was going to make for part 3 of the After Man pack. I just started the thing, and there are at least two more animals I'd like to model for it: the Shovel-Horned Gigantelope, and my original spec, the "Batelope". The good thing about the Gigantelopes is that they're like ceratopsians and hadrosaurs: once you have the basic body, you just need some adjustments to make the others, so here's a preview of the edited model in progress:

It may be that the spider animations are functional, since the animation speed can be edited.

Both models are fantastic.

I'll send you two animals soon hahaha

Hey everybody, a heads up: I have to make the same trip I did before, which means no internet connection and no laptop with me. As such my projects will be on halt until I return home, which will only be next Monday, unfortunately.

To make up for this week of absence, I'll be releasing the last two models I made as objects for a trial release. In some small way I hope it keep you guys excited for part 3 of the pack. Please enjoy! :D

No worries about having to take a hiatus, everyone on the forum has a life outside of it haha. In any case, thanks for the releases and I'm excited to see what you have to show off when you get back!

Hello again, everybody! :D Hope everyone is doing good, despite everything that transpired this last week.

Now for some good project reporting to remedy it: I just had time to work on the Batelope today, but I got the model and texture pretty much finished, and just need a few adjusments here and there as usual. Here's a preview:

I usually don't like to mix my own creations with preexisting properties, but in this case I saw the need to intervene. I admit I quite liked it, even if very different from the rough sketch I posted. I opted to make the overall shape be more like of the rabbuck (so it reflects the book's illustration better), and the boxy head wasn't really working as I intended, so I tried various designs until I got something that looked more harmoniously, if a little "normal".

Also I noticed that there has been a bug-mania going on in the designing section, so inspired by this I would like to make one too! Which of course translates in me doing future bugs! After Man doesn't really have any insects of note except for the Lemurian swallowtail, which is just a background creature... But Future is Wild does!

The Falconfly is a species of giant predatory wasp (described as being the size of a kestrel) that inhabits the Antartica continent 100 million years hence; having shifted northwards and now on the equator, Antartica became covered in dense tropical forest, and the Falconfly is one of the main predators of the island. I would post a preview of its model, but it's not that impressive without textures, but this week I'll have it finished, and add to part 3 of the pack.

Stay well, everyone :D
