Wow all of you models look amazing! I am not sure if you are taking suggestions, but are you considering doing any of the future creatures from the television show Primeval, such as the Future Predator and Megaopteran?

I agree with everyone else here. Prehistoric plants are so underrapreciated and so underused in this community. Thank you for making these, they look plant-astic! Besides you, Whalebite, Bunyupy, Zeta-Designs and Hispa-Designs also made some prehistoric foliage. BTW, I apologize in advance if I am going a bit-off topic, but all of this reminds me of Poharex. He made a mod for the first Zoo Tycoon game, making the prehistoric animals' biomes more realistic, changing some errors(Caudipteryx being listed as a Jurassic period animal) and adding new prehistoric plants, thus making the game's foliage roster more fun, diverse and scientifically accurate. He also made the epic expansion mod for the ''Carnivores Saga'' games- Carnivores Triassic. This fan-made game is so good, I consider it an official canon installment in the series. Ok, back on topic. I think I speak from everyone's name when I say we are all eternally grateful for this. Of course on a meta-level, this applies to all ZT2 fan-made downlaods/mods. If possible, I would worship you and the ground you walk on for this. Bless you forever. I already can't wait for the other/next parts. Good luck and best of wishes.

I'm not familiar enough with Primeval and its specs to plan anything with them, but I can model the Future Predator some time since it's the one I know more about.

Thanks for the kind words TheCrimsonFKing666 :D And I do know Poharex's work, yes! I have that ZT1 mod, and the plants in it are indeed very well made, though I admit I removed the terrain alterations because the ZT1 mess are way too embbeded in nostalgia for me to change (I actually did a personal alteration much like that to replace the need for grass to dirt, and I couldn't like it afterwards). And the Carnivores community is actually a great source of inspiration for me! :D There's something about the game that makes screenshots look really nice, and it was great to see all the creative mods people did with it (I even have a collection of screenshots of these mods I like to see to inspire in another unrelated project).

Anyways, here's a preview of the Fin Lizard diorama in antecipation of a very special reveal some time this week:

As you can see I made a small deviation from the original illustration with the Fin Lizard in the back now being flipped, because replicating the same scene from the original made it look really awkward. Also, maybe not apparent in these screenshots, I reworked the texture a little to have better scaly appearance. Also also now that I see it I don't think I like the rock texture I used, so I'll change that in the finished version. I am, however, very happy with the cactus I made (which will also be a plant in the pack because I already made the model, so it's not that difficult).

Love these dioramas! But one thing though, every time I see a diorama, I keep wondering whether will they be made into actual animals?

Funny you mentioned it, the Fin Lizard was the first one Zoker rigged for me :D , and this week I've been polishing it to be released with this part. I reckon it's about 98% completed; the 2% missing is an issue I'm having with the animals not spawning offsprings properly - they get pregnant but when its time to build a nest, they don't, and the pregnancy meter empties. So if anyone reading this know how to solve this issue, please tell me! Otherwise I'll just release it like that because I don't wish to hold part 3 any further. :x

And don't worry! If I ever get to something that won't make for a good functional animal (and there aren't any ideas on how it could be solved), I'll specify of course. The Night Stalker, Flooer, and Reedstilt are on the process of being rigged as well, and when Zoker is free and if he's still available, I'll send him the Gigantelope, Megasquid, and Batelope as well. :D So all of the animals I showcased so far are going to be functional animals.

Anyways, still preparing part 3 for the release. I finished the Fin Lizard diorama and added it to the game, and made two informative plaques to complement the standalone Gigantelope and Megasquid models. Here are some screenshots I took, trying to be a little bit thematic by building it as if in an exposition:

As you can see the plaque for the megasquid comes with a different style. Future is Wild information boxes will have a more technological-looking appearance, in contrast with After Man's old-fashioned aesthetic.

I still need to make:
- Fin Lizard's cactus as an actual plant
- Batelope Diorama
- Night Stalker Diorama
- A few tiny adjustments in the Fin Lizard coding.

Once all of these are done I'll finally release part 3. :D That's all for now, gotta go back to finishing that pack! Cheers, everybody.

Finished the Night Stalker Diorama! :D Here's a preview of how it looks ingame:

I also finished the cactus from the Fin Lizard diorama as its own plant, which means the only remaining thing to do is the Batelope diorama! :D However that will be a task for next day, which will definitely be the day of release. Hope you guys like it as much as I liked making it! :D

See ya, everyone!

Wow that looks seriously awesome, had to do a double-take as it first looked like a photo from a real diorama like the ones you showed earlier, amazing work!

Man I'd love if you could do these with modern-day animals too! They're simply AMAZING, and a must-have for a museum in ZT2 :O

Wonderful job on these latest dioramas! I may finally be able to make a proper museum gallery in ZT2 with these!
