Thanks everybody! I'm glad you guys like it, and I can’t wait to see it being used in zoos! :D

As I mentioned, I thought of some variants for the Tyrannosaurus skull. The other two I thought of were a black one with a concrete base that goes well for external areas, and a gaudy golden one with a black marble base that goes well for... Really fancy zoos, I guess. I just liked the idea and wanted to make it. I'll need to figure out how to implement collision until I can add these two along with the released trial version, but I wanted to show what they look like:

Speaking of collision, I might as well make a few more simple projects seeing as it's incredibly easy to create objects that don't require collision. As such I believe it's a decent moment to remake my Ambient Rocks pack.

I always found ZT2 to be a little bit lacking in sound (there aren't even footstep sounds, honestly), so I made the Ambient Rocks to make things a tad more immersive by playing loops of different ambient sounds. They're not that impressive per se, but I feel like it adds a special something to exhibits and safari tours (in fact I even had coded them to have tour appeal when guests pass near it).

The previous rocks were just a retexturing of the vanilla music rock, but now I'll make a new one, made from scratch, very small, and add all of the ambient sounds I had planned previously. Since it'll take a little bit of time to finish all of them (since they're mostly all focused on coding than modelling), I'll leave another little teaser for something else:

Even though I'm probably still a long way from implementing animals properly, I have a little something planned when I figure out object collision.

Really like the t-Rex Variants. We need more skeletons for extinct zoo's. Keep up the good work :)

I got so pumped starting the Reedstilt’s model I ended up just about finishing the base mesh before I do the texturing.

Well, at least I got one more preview out before I call it a day! :D

The Reedstilt is my favorite of the Spec Evo creatures, and that's an amazing model to boot ^^

Whew! I finally finished the Ambient Rocks pack entirely. It's 100% completed, exactly as I envisioned it way back when. I'd release it earlier if it wasn't for a very annoying issue I ran into. Rest assure though, I tested it throughly.

I also insisted in including certain features, such as zoopedia entries and a filter. Since it's likely you have a lot of downloads, it can be difficult to go through all of the objects to find things, so you may choose to narrow it down by my creations and they'll be there!

Anyways, here it is everybody, please enjoy! :D

So I had a hunch that using one of BF's objects as a base would do the trick, and indeed I was able to implement sucessfully collision to the Tyrannosaurus Skull. It will still have free placement as I feel it gives more freedom.

I'd like to first investigate if I'm able to put the same shiny effect from ZT2's own golden objects into the golden variant. Other than that, I just have to adjust a few things and code the variants, and I'll release the finalized version of the object. :D

Hey everybody, I have a few things to say.

First off, as a quick note, I found an issue in the Ambient Rocks pack in which I forgot to properly name the materials in the BFB model, which caused it to have the texture of the Tyrannosaurus skull I was making as I was testing it...Oops... The issue is solved, and I've updated the download file link. Just re-download and replace the file.

Second, I finished the Tyrannosaurus Skull in its entirety. 100% completed with zoopedia entries, collision, and guest appreciation. I made it so that the black variant is a little more expensive, but has better scoring for decorating, and the golden one is even more expensive, but is a lot more attractive. I swear Zoopedia coding will be the death of me, but I fortunately I figured what I was doing wrong and it won't be an issue next time! Here's the official release of the Tyrannosaurus Skull:

I ended up unable to add the shiny effect I mentioned. Maybe later down the line I'll figure it out.

Third, regarding trial downloads I release in the future, I'll be posting them in this topic exclusively so that it doesn't clutter the Downloads section with unfinished objects and bother the mods. Maybe I just need a Google Drive....

Lastly, I maaaaaay have overworked myself these past few days in my designing enthusiasm... So I'll be taking a few days to rest and recover my energies. Hopefully these releases will give you all a little something until I'm back.

Plus, I want my all for that secret project now that I figured out collision for objects!

See ya in a few days! :D

Hey, it's no problem at all ;) that's what I'm here for. If you want to update it 10 times, no issue.

Alright then, but I'll try to keep it a minimum nonetheless. :D

Anyways, I said I was going to take a few days off, but that doesn't mean I can't model and tease some more! :D So here's another preview of an object for the After Man pack:

I plan on doing a tiny teaser pack containing a few objects related to After Man until I get to make the animals properly.

I just found Tamara Henson's After Man pack while browsing the Download wiki last night, so its quite a treat to see you making more content based off that book. Keep it up!
