That look amazing. I'm not much into the speculative creatures, but the diorama looks cool. If it is PD i can see people using it as a base to create pre-made reptile exhibits or stuff like that. Really nice work. |

All my creations are PD, actually anyone can make their own dioramas out of it if they want. And I do understand this not being a popular thing; to be honest, mostly I'm doing this pack for myself since it's something I always wanted to make, but if there are others who like it, it's good too.

A very minor addition to the After Man pack teaser: the reed featured in the Reedstilt illustration.![]() Since I made the model for the diorama, I just went ahead and made it as a plant properly. It's fully functional and even had the wind effect added thanks to Hendrix very concise and practical script! There aren't many plants of interest in After Man (the title IS "A Zoology of the Future" after all), but I'll add some of the "unimportant" ones as I see fit. Well, the map and coding of the plant took more time than I thought, so the diorama will be finished and released tomorrow hopefuly; I just want to add two more little objects in the pack before I finish it, but they aren't anything complex, so it won't take too long. Still, for another day it is.

Definitely going to make use of that diorama for some exhibits, never really been into speculative evolution (despite my love of all things wierd and mythical) but that Reedstilt is too cute not to applaud! |

Hey everybody, apologies for having to delay my project ; I ran into a few issues and I'm trying to solve them. At least the biggest problem is already fixed: DDS alpha didn't have the effect I antecipated in the water transparency, and so I had to investigate in a bunch of places until I found the game own's plexiglass BFMAT that had the parameters to allow transparency (and more importantly, avoid having to resort to nifs!). The water won't look exactly as I intended but at least it's a decent effect for what I'm doing: ![]() So yes, the other problems are easier to solve, so they won't take too long, hopefuly. |

Look at the bright side, the Water looks decently murky for what I assume is a wetland. |

The creature is from the wetlands in the book, but I wanted to make it more like an european pond than the Everglades. Still, it looks good I suppose it could look better if I tested the parameters thoroughly, but I need time for that.
Actually that was one of the issues I ran into... I forgot that ZT2 already have model's faces appear from both sides. I'm used to modding a game this isn't the case, but it's no biggie. Anyways, the second object I was making was taking up too long to make, so I'll shelve it to a later release. I'm glad to announce the release of the After Man teaser pack! Hope everyone likes it, and look forward to when I actually get to make them as functional animals! Not to mention I'd love to see what others will make with the diorama base for their own creations! After Man pack- teaser ![]() General Information: Creator: Panrex Language: Bugs: None Extra Information: Credits: Roy Woodard for the map illustration; Diz Wallis for the Reedstilt & Nightstalker illustrations;Dougal Dixon for the book which this pack is based on; Sophie for the log prop. Funny you should mention these, just yesterday I was measuring them in Gmax to have an idea of their relative sizes compared to one another and the human model I'm using as reference. I used as much information from the text and illustrations as possible, so it SHOULD be accurate enough, even with the artistic discrepancies (i.e. the Gigantelope in the Raboon illustration looks very different). ![]() And whoa! Didn't know about this cover of the music! I have the original I saved from long ago, but this remix is amazing! Thank you so much for bringing this up, I'll definitely include the music rock!
