Hello guys! Here comes another animal for the AFRIKA Pack!

Known as Nakawa-Mweupe in Swahili, the Superb Starling can be found in many areas of the Manyanga Conservation Area. They can be found on the Duma Steppe, Kiboko Swamp, Choroa Gorge and Lake Heroe. They are absent from the Kiwanja Plain. These flashy fliers may be quite common in their range, but they are far from ordinary. Superb Starlings are among the most ostentatiously adorned birds in Africa, with a shiny blue throat and chest, radiant green wings, a bright orange belly and white accent marks on the chest and tail.

Another Colorful creature!

The Rock Agama, also known as the Rainbow Agama, is a lizard that lives in East Africa's rocky habitats and is known for the bright coloring of the males. Males are at their most colorful during the breeding season, when their heads are a vivid red-orange, pink or blue spots, and their striped bodies are varying shades of blue. These lizards can be found in Choroa Gorge and Lake Heroe. Swahili name for this lizard is Mjusi Kafiri.
