razanandrongobe sakalavae Razana was a huge 24 feet long 1.6 meter tall Notosuchian a type of Crocodilimorph from the mid jurassic of Madagascar. Razanandrongobe sakalavae was the top predator of madagascar at this time it had teeth that are very similar to that of a t rex suggesting just like t rex Razana ate bones and hard tendons too his bone crushing bite speed and size boosted him to the top like many cretaceous crocs Razana could out competed and did over rule theropod dinosaurs Razana did closley resemble the rauisuchians but was only distantly related to them this giant croc had the tools to hunt chase catch kill and eat dinosaurs and had the equipment to eat the whole carcuss from the looks of the parcial skull paleontologists can tell that Razana had binocular vision good hearing and a very powerful sense of smell this croc would have been a very formidable predator indeed further more terrestrial crocs probably fought each other like bears and komodo dragons do engaing in a form of wrestling the victor being the one who pushes the other too the ground. Unlike aquatic crocs tresstrial crocs do not tire easily and are fast over long distances and terrestrial crocs move in a similar fasion to bears and big cats combined. ![]() At the size of 24 feet long or 7.3 to 7.4 meters long and 1.6 meters tall or 5.2 feet tall Razanandrongobe sakalavae was probably the largest Notosuchian ever infact at 7.3 to 7.4 meters long Razana claims the title the largest terrestrial crocodile to have ever of lived the previous largest one being the large bear like 6 meter long Quinkana from pleistocene Australia. Razana would have been a terrorfying sight for a dinosaur strong large fast powerful amune system high endurance powerful bite big strong bone crushing teeth and powerful senses its very clear that Razana was used to hunting chasing catching killing and eating dinosaurs as prey i think some one should make a mod for this so we can have it in zoo tycoon 2 download preferably by dropbox |

Considering we have only a fragment of a maxilla, I seriously doubt we can say that. Also please, try to use proper grammar in your posts, especially if they are long like this. It makes reading them much easier for site members. |

im pretty sure they have bits of the skull which make up the vaige area of the nose and its a terrestrial crocodile evey terrestrial croc has binocular vision so Razana would be no different but im pretty sure we may have the eye orbit also most of this post is proper gramma yes there is a lack of full stops and some letters that need to be capatal letters arnt but what ever i am dyslexic but thats no excuse |

Are we sure this is a Sebecian? All they said is that it was a Notosuchian (an identity which I am skeptical of, given that it's the first member of that clade found in lower rocks than the Cretaceous). |
