Oh yes, haha I've definitely fixed the names! I've done some testing with the base Carnotaurus armature, added a few bones for toes and breathing - but it still has a docking issue, sometimes at least. If its close enough it will slide into position, but I've only witnessed it once. (eating from food trough). I'm gonna try changing the turning anim speed to see if that helps, but TLDR; I'm basically having the same issue as my last armature; so I'm pretty sure it has to do with some bone orientation in animation maybe? Definitely something I'm doing wrong, it has got to be the animations - the armature is literally the same to the base Carno, just a few bones moved to fit the mesh and so on. It's driving me batty I feel like its something so simple! Thinking about posting the .blend file as well as the all of the coding files to see if anyone else would like to take a glimpse at it.

Hello everybody! Bet you thought you'd never hear from me again! ![]() I'm here today to give a few updates. -My Carnotaurus project is now on stand by. I've decided to start a new animal, that will go off of animations already in game, to practice what I've learned in meshing, skinning and coding. Once I feel confident enough in my ability to animate completely from scratch, I will return to this project and do a complete overhaul. Any how, this new animal is completely custom from the ground up, from the mesh, to its origin. I wanted to create a custom species for this project, because while I wanted to do a dinosaur, I wanted to do one that I knew I would get right first try, (i.e, anatomy, skin impressions, ect), and I had free reign to make as colorful and unique as I wanted. Before I take on real biological animal recreations, I want to perfect my technique. So without further delay, here are some previews! I've decided to dub this creature the 'Subtelathorus'. (Images are a bit large!) Spoiler: click to toggle I also have a baby model, and juvenile model. (The baby model is unisex, while the juvenile has male and female models like its parents). I'm going to have 5 overall variants (2 of which are albino and melanistic), baby variants are included too! The past few days I've been coding the variants and juvenile stage, and so far, the animal works perfect in game! It uses the Velociraptor and Utah animations, and I plan to have a few of my own animations in with it (not 100% sure though!). The most problems I'm having right now are honestly variant design. The female design shown is the work of 3 days of drawing and deleting numerous files. I will also be dictating its behavior and discovery in its Zoopedia. Still have to write that, but so far its pretty clear that the male of this species is a performer! Honestly I'd LOVE to do a whole pack of custom species animals and ecosystem. If you guys enjoy this, and this creation proves to go well I may, but if not I may take a few requests for animals that ya'll would like to be added to the community. Of course after I've proven myself as an accomplished modder, haha!Anyways, I hope you all have been doing well! I wish the best of luck to everyone else's projects. I'll update here when I feel like I've made more progress.
