There'll be no foot-walking! Just air-flying!

You should be able to found out if you can use the models from this other company or not. I mean there should be some information on their website or the game website.

I know for a fact I would not be able to import them with permission. They're from one of the big prolific companies who are known for handing out C&D's if you so much as breathe in their direction, hence why I retexture them to be different so it's not glaringly obvious where I've got them from. This isn't a case of me wanting to be secret or trying to be sly, it's just their reasons for handing out C&D's are always horse apples. Importing has always been a grey area, and having been apart of import and extracting communities for a while, it's not really meant to be infringement, people just want to enjoy models, textures and everything else in other capacities.
Still, you'll more likely to get a C&D if you don't mention them at all. :P It just isn't fair if you don't mention them at all.

I do love these bugs though :D

Went back and edited them for some credit, still a bit sly in execution, but it's there.

Lolololol. I knew it was them. As soon as you said that they give out C&D for even breathing, I knew it. I just lost one of my favorite Minecraft mods to a C&D from them. :(

Anywho, awesome beetles! I love seeing more bugs in Zoo Tycoon!

Is there any way to alter an animal so that it wanders around more often? The next release I have going regards a certain animal that doesn't do an awful lot other than move and eat, but they seem to be doing a lot of 'standing' rather than 'wandering' and they're quite static, which I don't really want.

Now that I have a new keyboard, I can FINALLY comment on this! :D I was really interested in a dung beetle, of all things! Now if I can just code it so that it can feed on feces, it'd be possible to have a "nature preserve" without having zookeepers milling around.

Love these! Bugs are so hard to find for this game!

Two things:
One, is the zoopedia omission deliberate? Because it is surprisingly easy to turn them on... admittedly, they do need a lot of work though; they still have the Giant Cockroach info.
Two, a quick test and I can confirm, these need Ulquiorra's cockroaches to work.

Very good work on those wonderful beetles.

Have you considered insted of making a larvae-stage or mini-beetles to scrab the youth stages altogether in favour of a nest looking like a dead tree or a dirt-mound. Most beetle larvae don't crawl on the ground but are hidden behind treebark or in the ground. A nest- maybe even with moving texture ( like the termite-mound food item ) woulkd reflect this stage better than grubs crawling around or mini-beetles.

Edit: I shouldn't post first thing after getting up. Terrible English there... :(

Possibly, been looking into it. I'm not the most adept person at ZT2 coding so I can't make any promises.

I find zoopedias to be too little use for me to really try and put any effort in. If I need information for an animal, I'm more likely to look it up online rather than skim through an entry in-game. They're cute, but I'm lazy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
