I love scorpions!... And centipedes!... And the whip scorpion! I love everything in that post! ^_^

On a technical note: What animations will the centipede use? I assume it would look perfect with the snake animations (minus it curling up, because I think centipedes don't do that), but then the legs wouldn't move.
The centipedes will use the snake animations, yes, unfortunately I don't know how to make it so they don't curl up as often but it's not unheard of for centipedes to curl up. Usually they curl up around eggs. Snake animations will probably have to do, I don't think it's worth animating every single leg, though. They're that small in regards to other animals it doesn't seem worth the effort, plus it'd only be one animation set for a very specific animal. :c
In the beh file, you have this :
Quote:

<Ground_Idle>
<subjects>
<BoaRedTailed/>
</subjects>
<behaviors>
<BFBehAnimSwitchSet>
<behaviorTable>
<Stand behSet="DefaultStand"/>
<Lie behSet="DefaultLie"/>
<default behSet="DefaultLie"/>
</behaviorTable>
</BFBehAnimSwitchSet>
</behaviors>
</Ground_Idle>

The behaviours consists of a switch, which has a table. The default value is the Lie one. If you want to remove the curling up ( as in, you want the idle anim to be just standing, but it should still curl up for sleeping for instance), remove the Lie-line and set the default one to behSet="DefaultStand".

If you still want it to occasionally curl up in idle mode, simply replace the BFBehAnimSwitchSet with :
Quote:

<BFBehRandomSet>
<randomSets>
<DefaultStand weight="70"/>
<DefaultLie weight="30"/>
</randomSets>
</BFBehRandomSet>

Of course, you can alter the chance by adjusting the weights.

This should do the trick and give you a slightly more realistic experience, but I haven't test this myself yet so have fun with it I'd say :P

I love your invertebrate imports! Thank-you, this stuff is much-needed! Would there be any chance of a species of velvet worm in the works?

I love your invertebrate imports! Thank-you, this stuff is much-needed! Would there be any chance of giant water bugs or some sort of weta in the works? Or, though unlikely, any species of velvet worm?
I believe Ulq has a giant water bug in the works. I would also like to make a giant weta and velvet worms but I unfortunately can't find models of such things, so I have to pitch them to my main meshing man before they become a reality. ^_^

Yeah, shortly after I posted that I saw the water bug in Ulq's thread. Turn's out they're also making a wetapunga. Here's hoping you can convince your guy to make a velvet worm mesh, though!

I love those animals :) You just put them somewhere and they are decorative and are essential to most eco systems! Thank you very much!

Due to a particular bug (no pun intended) regarding the centipedes that will require me to recode all the others, that pack will, in all probability, come out later than the current projects I have lined up, but it's definitely not forgotten. Our snip snap pack, however, has had some new additions!

With the additon of these two beautiful scorpions, the pack is now shaping up to hold five scorpions currently.
One particular, marbled scorpion is planned, but that means we have two more slots to fill to reach the eight minimum I'd like to make! Suggestions are welcome!

Whilst not technically a scorpion...

The giant vinegaroon will be whipping it's way into your zoos very soon! Just, don't get too close.

And to round off the update, we have a release. Whilst I was waiting for Ulquiorra to release his bugs with the larvae and pupae stages before I made anymore beetles, to save on me having to recode more animals, I couldn't help myself. I had to make my favourite stag in the whole wide world due to recent circumstances.
