That moment when ZT2 gets bored of being a tycoon management game and insteads turns itself into a surreal walking simulator ala LSD Dream Emulator.![]() ![]() Interestingly enough, using terrain brush does get rid of the pink terrain (that looks suspiciously like flowers) and the black squares. Everything is walkable, and the black isn't some endless void. The border still remains, however. ![]() ![]() The resemblance is uncanny. Anyone else ever had any wierd glitches? |

Looks like memory Issues. Typically restarting the game and/or pc will clear it up. Still that does looks trippy. I only recently started playing ZT2 and so far haven't run into any glitches. Well other then my guests some how getting into the animal habits and panicking because "Oh, my god its a peafowl! Its so dangerous!" Edited by Keylion, Aug 30 2017, 12:40 PM.

Also black areas on maps could be caused by too many downloads. |

I kind of like that pattern, you should try re-creating it as some form of flower themed path. Edited by Ulquiorra, Aug 30 2017, 04:19 PM.

Have you ever had that issue where you've put so much in the game that your guests start getting distorted? And I don't mean mods, necessarily. I have issues where the guests' heads and accessories will start floating separately from their bodies, or I'll have zookeepers get stuck between two rocks and their heads will spaz around until they get out. This happened to me first when I was playing completely vanilla. I was making a zoo with every species in the game and each section was connected with a sky tram. Ambitious, I know. The issue was it was putting so much strain on the game that it ended up giving me that guest glitch. As a little kid, this was hilarious, and I've only seen this happen a couple more times. Ironically, it's never happened in my modded zoos but I haven't made large enough zoos to trigger it lol. |

I've had guests just pop their head off at times, not even due to my zoo being crowded or too big, I think they're just sort of... broken. I know in the game files their heads and bodies are seperate entities, that might explain why they 'break' but I swear even the most mundane things set them off. I had a casual zoo that had elevated paths leading up over an exhibit. They went straight up and then levelled, then turned up diagonally and then levelled again. The path finding of the guests made them go up on the far side and reach the top, but when they wanted to come down again they'd go straight (as in direction, not actually following) down the diagonal path and get stuck at the bottom against the railing, and their heads would be a good five or so feet away from their neck. .__. |

I once made an open safari-style Great Plains zoo where the animals (mostly bluebucks) reproduced into the hundreds. The animals started floating off the ground, clipping into rocks, etc. Never seen anything as dramatic as your experience though, OP. |
