I've been trying to make biomes for years. You would mind teaching me how to do them?

They look great and a very unique idea.

I like the turtles a lot and I especially like the species you chose to make.

I'm going to be honest and say right now they are basically just Hendrix's bog biome reskinned and added to Lego's biome shell right now. I tried using mass file-renaming software to go in and rename them so they can all be used together (and with the bog biome) but when I did so all of the zdetails and rocks turned white so I am going to try and rename everything by hand and see if that works first before trying something else.

Here are the other biomes that will be included in the "freshwater biome expansion" I am attempting. :)

They are Coastal Swamp (with wetlands being used as inland swamp- I'm not sure if I will personally include a renaming and reskin of it with these biomes yet), inland marsh, coastal marsh, and deep lake. Coastal swamp is mangroves, inland marsh and coastal marsh are self-explanatory, and deep lake is any deep lake such as the great lakes, the rift lakes of africa, lake baikal, and many other deep lakes across the world. Also, instead of grass, coastal swamp has breathing roots and dead leaves. :)
Spoiler: click to toggle

Also, I have made progress on the water. :) Stay tuned for some looks at that.

These biomes are interesting. ZT2 was lacking marshland-like biomes, there were only wetlands.

There'll be no foot-walking! Just air-flying!

A friend of mine, Jeremonster, once made a tutorial on it. It isn't completely up to date to match with Lego's system, but if you download his marine biome hack you'll see which files you'll need. Here's the tutorial, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind me uploading it here as he want this to be shared anyway :P

Thank you for posting that, Iben, because I definitely need it myself. :P

Thank you, Dylan. I tried to keep the number of biomes low for my own sanity without making wastebasket biomes like Wetlands is in ZT2. I will for sure include a hack that moves the vanilla animals to appropriate biomes where necessary if I can, and while not all of the biomes have vanilla animals in them, I did have at least four animals for every biome. :)

Here is a new pic for you guys to see. :) The first thing you'll notice is the three waters for Turbulent River, Tropical River, and Deep Lake. Also, you can see that these are the first biomes I've successfully coded into the game together. Their icons and UI are not done and only deep lake has foliage right now (which I will be showing later ;) ) so I will not be showing those yet, but I can tell you that with this unless a freak event occurs they are on the road to release. :)

I cannot wait for these to be released. You can expect to see one or more used in a future S&T.

Also, could I send you the file of a biome I made up? It hasn't worked and I'm not sure why
