I am definitely not happy with the mangrove fern. It is very bright but the actual plant is, so I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing with it yet. It probably will get reskinned, but we'll see.

I really liked your turtles and i like what i've seen of the new biomes so far. Is cool that you are making a mangrove biome. The zeta detail will be really useful (and well thought btw). And so cool to see that they will include new plants! We are always in need of new plants. Keep up the good work!

Two more plants, the lace plant and the amazon sword. :) They are in the turbulent river and tropical river biomes respectively.

More plants, more fun, more realism to ZT2.

I'm not taking the time to apply a skin to a BFB because it's unnecessarily difficult for little reward and I am not making new models for the same reason :P

It's no longer 2007, but 2017...

Plant skins look pretty cool so far ;)

Oh I'm sure it's easier than I'm aware, but I'm doing this for fun and that means I'm not going to take the time out to figure out how to do it because I want to have fun, not get annoyed trying to figure it out. :P

You could always ask for help :P
To change a skin on a bfb, go to the Materials folder (entities/objects/foliage/CodeName/Materials), open the .bfmat file using notepad and change
<param name="Texture0" type="texture">SkinName</param>

Well, I have no idea why, but even though doing exactly what I did for the other BFB models failed every other time, it worked for the one new plant that uses them:

For the salt marsh biome we have the common reed and high-tide bush.

The other new plant was originally going to using the lily of the valley model but even though the high-tide bush decided to work, the lily of the valley did not, so I ended up using the Ramsons model which is a nif and worked for whatever reason. It is the Venus Flytrap of the inland marsh biome. :)

I know I'll definately use that reed a lot, most zoos of mine need it.
And the flytrap is a nice surprise.

Is there a white edge on amazon sword plant?
And I think lace plants are greenish in color.

Lace Plants, including the one I made, are green. They are just not a vibrant green, more of a subdued, darker green.

As for the amazon sword plant, that is a reflection on one of the leaves. :)

Here are the last three plants. :)

Mare's-Tail is from the Inland Marsh biome.

Eelgrass and the American Sycamore tree are from the temperate river biome.

And with that, the plants are all complete. :) Just to get the pack out faster, the plants won't have zoopedias, though I'm sure you guys probably don't mind all that much. I just have to finish up the rock icons and the biome selection icons and the pack will be ready for release.
