no I don't really care all that much about their size tbh. they're so distorted they're fine as is in my book. but they do share something in common (along with the florida panther and koala) that hints to my next project.

Is it a remake of the original dinosaurs or a new biome? |

Well I sort of ended up taking a break from designing, but I'm back into it as of the last hour so I have new stuff to show everyone. ![]() These first two have been sitting pretty much done for a while, so here they are: The first two animals of the freshwater booster pack are the American crocodile and Slender-Snout Crocodile. The slender-snout uses the medium-sized lure bouys included in Crocodylia, as they are of course using the crocodylia animations and models. They use coastal swamp and tropical river respectively. The other animal is one I just whipped up today, and was actually one of the first animals I had wanted to make for Zoo Tycoon 2- and there's a yabby for scale to show how large the Tasmanian Giant Freshwater Crayfish actually is. and finally we have the first reveal for the next biome pack. I will be creating 7 (or 8, if someone can actually give me a valid reason to include a tropical pine forest biome) terrestrial biomes intended to cover the biomes RR and ZT2 left out. They will be released in packs of two so I don't burn myself out like with the freshwater biomes, two forest biome packs and one "open" biome pack. The first biome I am showing off here is the maritime forest biome. I'm not entirely happy with it yet. The water is currently the tropical river water, but I'm not sure if I want to change it yet or not because it fits decently. We'll see. The vanilla maritime forest animals are: *Koala *Florida Panther *Dodo *Triceratops *Ankylosaurus *Tyrannosaurus The vanilla maritime forest plants are: *Sydney Blue Gum *King sago as before, each biome will include two new plants as well. ![]() Also, looking back I should have included the boxelder in the temperate river biome as well. Woops. My question is, would you guys prefer a separate hack for it to move it to temperate river, to have its move included with the maritime forest's biome hack, or update the old freshwater plant move hack? History is indeed little more than the register of the crimes, follies, and misfortunes of mankind.

I think this is looking good, and I think you should include the tropical pine forest so that some animals can be suitable for the biome.

I think you should probably just update the freshwater pack |

The problem is there aren't any that I can find. There are just plain no animals native exclusively or even primarily to tropical pine forests. Not to say there aren't animals there, but they're almost all found throughout tropical rainforests and that just happens to include pine forests. |

Then why not just make two tropical pines for the Tropical Rainforest biome? |

That's a possibility but it wouldn't be included in these packs because the new plants are only for introduced biomes, not old ones. |

I'm liking that American crocodile, we've been needing one of those for quite some time, and the rest look really good as well. |

The croc is really nice and new biomes seem to be a great addition to RR ZT2. Thanks for all of these things! |

I just have a few things to touch up with the freshwater booster pack and it will be released. I have a few other animals I'd like to make as I work on the biome packs, so don't fear that these will be my last animals for a while. In the meantime, here is the other biome to be released with Maritime Forest, the Temperate Pine Forest biome. It represents drier pine forest, though those still from lowland environments, across temperate regions of the world, specifically thinking of the southern United States, the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, and forests in parts of central Europe. This makes it a perfect biome for moose, ivory-billed woodpeckers, and aurochs. The two plants to get moved to this biome from vanilla are the pink lady slipper and that other pink plant from boreal forest that escapes my name right now, but it's in the picture so you know what I'm talking about

I updated the grass and pine needle texture for temperate pine forest to something that isn't as bright. It's a little too dark realistically but I felt it looked too swampy before. Also, speaking of swampy, the freshwater booster pack has been released!
