Jurassic Park Pack; Dinosaurs from Jurassic Park

Hi all, now’s as good a time as any to showcase the work I’ve been doing for a while now. For a long time I’ve wanted to be able to put in film accurate versions of the Jurassic Park dinosaurs, so I set about doing it myself, to make exactly what I want.
This pack will try to encompass all the dinosaurs across the 4 films, however I will mostly be focussing on the look of those in the first 3, as I prefer the aesthetics. I will do some of the JW dinosaurs, putting my own spin on some, to fall more in line with the first 3, and will do the same for some not mentioned or included in the franchise. They will be strictly not feathered, as I want to keep in cannon with the films, not scientific accuracy, feel free to take the models and add feathered skins yourselves though, as long as you credit my original work where due :) As I said, I’m quite new so don’t expect amazing, and fluent animations, or picture perfect skins as I’m not so great, but again, I don’t mind if people wanna take the skins and high-res them, or wanna improve animations :)
As I said before they will mostly be coming out in batches based on their star rating, so naturally the first pack will include the one start dinosaurs, including:
1.Metriocanthosaurus
2.Styracosaurus
3.Herrerasaurus
4.Dryosaurus
5.Microceratus
6.Compsognathus
7.Dimorphodon
8.Proceratosaurus
9.Dilophosaurus
Some may not make it into the final pack (time and such), but I’ll try my best. But without further ado I’ll showcase some of the designs, namely the Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor models, hope you enjoy them :D

I figured I’d do these first, so if nothing else, the stars of the show would be made, but work is underway on the Metriacanthosaurus, and models are completed for the Microceratus and Dryosaurus. I have also completed models for Allosaurus and Baryonix. Any questions or suggestions please feel free to ask, I’ll try to keep you updated on the progress, but be aware that animating from scratch takes a good while, and I haven’t figured out how to apply a pre-existing rig to a new model without it going weird when moving (if anyone knows, please link me or let me know :P), I’ll probably release the Trex and raptor as a teaser or something when done :P

Looking pretty good so far. Will there be variants such as having both the male and female rex and then the different raptor skins from the films?

@Croc Master I am doing male and female variants for all, so yeah brown female rex, and green male :), not sure about raptor skins from all films yet, atm I'm using JP1 for females and TLW for the males, but maybe further down the line :)

Good choices since I'm pretty sure Rexy is a female Tyrannosaurus. If you want the most variety in raptor variants, then Isla Sorna Raptors have the most since their is one group in TLW and another in JP3. :)

@Cole12345 Yeah it would be cool to do them all, but I'm gonna try to get the bulk of the skins done (male and female) then I'll move onto those sorts of variants, for now I'm just gonna use the JP1 raptors as the female colour, and TLW raptors as the males, cause that's how I always kinda interpreted it :)

Good job so far. This is actually coming at the best time possible as I was hoping to make a novel accurate zoo based on the Lost World. I'll definitely be folowing this. 😀

Thank you all for all the kind feedback! :D So I figured I'd post the models I have basically completed, some need to be tidied in a few places, but otherwise are complete, so here are the models for the Allosaurus, Baryonyx, Metriacanthosaurus, Dryosaurus, and Microceratus, hope you like :) I also revamped the raptor skin, it's a little lighter, but I think is truer to the film, though I'll probably do the first one as a variant. Upon revisiting I need to add faint, dark barring to the tail, but that's not too difficult :P

Allosaurus:

I hope you can see, but the model (and the skin when it's done) are inspired by the JPOG Allosaurus as I always really liked it, but there will be male/female differences in colour.

Baryonyx
Spoiler: click to toggle

The look of this was heavily influenced by that of the old TLW game on the PS1, so I tried to put the nostalgia I felt from that image into this :)

Metriacanthosaurus:
Spoiler: click to toggle

Just what I thought would look cool, the colours will be 'influenced' by JW, but I wasn't the biggest fan of it, so this is my interpretation.

Dryosaurus
Spoiler: click to toggle

Influenced by JPOG again, if it isn't broke don't fix it, they did a great job of representing these dinos in a JP way, and it's how I think of them after that game, so this is what I'm going with.

Microceratus:
Spoiler: click to toggle

Be gentle on this as ceratopsians are my weakest point (Damn complex heads and frills xD).

Velociraptor Update:
Spoiler: click to toggle

Needs a few tweaks as stated, mainly making sure the seams line up and flow well :P

That's all for now guys, hope you like :)

Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've been very busy with other things and haven't had the time to work on this, but hopefully soon I'll be able to put more time into it. Just a little thing to update you on, made some alterations to the Metriacanthosaurus model and I'm re-working the skin to look more in cannon. I'd like to hear feedback on which model you prefer? I personally prefer this slightly leaner one.

Cheers, next update will be more substantial, but may take a while.

Hi Guys, quick question for anyone who's interested, I've designed two male skins for the metriacanthosaurus and one for the female. Just wondering, based on the fem colour which male skin do you prefer, I'm ering on the side of the brown skin, but I'm quite happy with the green one as well, all thoughts welcome :)
