Are they really in the same exhibit? Tried to found pictures, but couldn't see any of them together in the same exhibit. |

https://www.longleat.co.uk/main-square/jungle-cruise Sure sounds like it, but I'm sure that in such a big pond, there are few conflicts between the species, and that this combination can't be replicated in smaller exhibits. I found this picture too: https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3870/14469936866_21544319af_b.jpg |

The lake is rather large (not a big as the other one you posted I don’t think) and the Hippos tend to stay in a marsh like area. There’s also an Island with Lowland Gorillas and a shallow part of the lake also has Eastern White Pelican. https://www.longleat.co.uk/news/drained_lake_provides_giant_mud_wallow_for_hippos That’s just a page from their website, it does mention them being in the same exhibit as it’s part of the “Jungle Cruise”. Animal Park, a TV series about Longleat safari park, that airs in the UK sometimes. The Sealion sometimes use the hippos as islands, or at least sometimes attempt to.
Also that photo, the sea lion beach has steep sides that the hippos can't climb up. It's just as well, the sea lions use that as there breeding beach, and the two hippo's were wild caught and have pretty much remained in a wild state. |
