Hey there! This is my first zoo on trt, I hope you like it!
The Rintey Zoo is located near an urban area. It's still under development and construction.

Posted Image

Guests first arrive at the public parking lot. And it looks somebody doesn't know how to park their car!

Posted Image

Staff park their cars on a seperate parking lot, in the background are the constructions for the aquarium section of the zoo.

Posted Image

Now we arrive at the entrance of the Rintey Zoo, the entrance building houses 4 ticket vendors.

Posted Image

The ticket kiosks are also used for the small administrations of the construction. Later an seperate office building will handle the paperwork.

Posted Image

The gift shop is build already, but has no purpose at this stage, since the park is closed to most of the public now.

Posted Image

At the end of this small tour is the restaurant, only staff use it at this point, but it will take on lots of guests when the park is finished.

This is the first look at the Rintey Zoo! I hope that I will have time to update this every now and then.

Thnx for the first comments guys! I will add some more foilage in the future. But only the entrance section is done at this point. The foilage will be used as cover, so you can't see the whole zoo just by turning your head. I hope to release the aquarium this week. Next week are lots and lots of long and difficult tests. So then I won't have time.

Hey guys! I'm back with the first animal section of The Rintey Zoo! As i mentioned, i tried to upload the aquaria this week and with some patience i managed to complete it! I hope you enjoy!

Posted Image

You enter the aquaria section by turning right just after the entrance. The section itsself is a kind of loop in wich you pass al the exhibits. It isn't very big, it only houses 1 medium tank and 2 large ones. We're researching the opportunity to build another larger aquarium section in the park.

Posted Image

The first tank houses 2 great Barracudas and 2 Winghead Sharks. This is the smallest tank of the aquarium section.

Posted Image

The second tank houses some more species: 4 Blacktip Reefsharks, 2 Zebra Sharks and 3 green Moral Eels. The eels are sometimes difficult to spot in the pretty busy tank.

Posted Image

To solve this. Here's a picture from one of the eels.

Posted Image

Opposite of the shark tank is the Indian Gharial exhibit, we will look at that exhibit later on.

Posted Image

After passing through a rock tunnel, we finally arrive at the last tank of this aquarium tour. This tank houses 3 manatees, gentle and beautiful creatures.

Posted Image

This is a better view at the manatee couple that lives in this tank.

Posted Image

We were suprised when the female gave birth to the little manatee seen here. It's unusual for animals to give birth that short after placement in the new tank. This means that our manatees are doing well!

Posted Image

When we exit the manatee tank, we can take a look in the indoor part of the Indian Gharial exhibit.

Posted Image

The exhibit only holds one Indian Gharial, we can't put another one in. Because this Gharial killed 3 others Gharial in her last zoo. We took care of her, but it nearly went wrong when we transported her to this exhibit. She's very aggresive and almost bit of the hand of one of the keepers, so we try to keep our distance.

Posted Image

When we leave, she gives us a threatening evil eye.

I hope you enjoyed this update! I don't have time from now on. (school is consuming all of my time next week) But I'll try to keep you updated (That update will go over the tropical hall in Rintey Zoo).

I really like it! Some tips though: i'm seeing a lot of empty rock wall. Try having some wall decorations or hanging vines or maybe use some different colored posts interspaced so that the walls aren't so drab. Sometimes I mix wall types like have stone at bottom and wood at top, stuff like that. Also, in the manatee exhibit, i would recommend the rock walls from dicky's aquarium downloads, it's really good for tunnels. On the outside, especially on the first picture of the Aquaria, i would have some more small rocks interspersed with the shrubbery. My favorite is small scrub rocks, but that's just me. I would also recommend trial and error with different roof types for your animal enclosures, instead of just flat roofing. I sometimes model my exhibits on real zoo buildings and it provides a lot of inspiration. (ps this is not criticism, just possible suggestions, everyone has different playing styles and it's up to you to make your own!!!)😄

Dude thnx! I'm going to use these tips! I really like tips and some criticism. The aquarium tips will surely turn out good at my new aquarium zoo. Rintey zoo will grow to multimap at some point i think, because its just a good name!

Looks like a great start! I agree with Dwarfbomb suggestions. I would also try to avoid showing the BF reptiles basking lamp since it looks quite bad. :)
