Ironically, TLW had one of the better examples of how dangerous herbivorous dinosaurs can be.

Do not get between a Stegosaurus and her baby, ladies and gentlemen.
That and JW, the Gyrosphere pinball, which eventually lead to Ankylosaurus vs Indominus rex.

Considering that Indominus survived a club straight to the face, it's honestly the opposite of that. :P It seriously made the Anky look like it wasn't even dangerous to get smacked in the face by a giant slab of bone.

It still showed a herbivore fighting back, rather than a herbivore running away or pretty much giving themselves to the carnivore.

I wouldn't pin it to the herbivore being nerfed.

Indy survived a whole load of things it shouldn't have. Tail club to the face, an entire herd of Apatosaurus, T. rex bites to the neck, explosions, guns...

Hell, before it got dragged off to its watery grave, it was actually still alive after that leviathan of a mosasaur bit down on its neck. Twice.

There is renewed debate on whether Brontosaurus could actually be a valid genus, however that doesn't suddenly make any previous inaccurate reconstructions accurate as they are still based on (butchered) Apatosaurus remains.
