There'll be no foot-walking! Just air-flying!

Essentially you can code any animal to lay eggs. Specific animations aren't really that necessary to get that effect.

Are there any Pterosaurs that have been made after Hendreix Pteronodon and Rhamphorhynchus that have been coded to lay eggs? |

Not a pterosaurs but I remember there is a patch to make hadrosaurs of JPOG pack by biohazard lay eggs. IIRC they used camel animations. |

No idea. I've seen the Pteranodon coding and it lays eggs, so it seems weird to me that others coded from those wouldn't lay eggs. It is however possible that someone made a coding error, and people started using that code as a base for theirs, etc. My guess would be to base your coding on Hendrix' original coding if that one breeds. |

Pteranodon breeding was indeed bugged - egg laying itself was fine, but it just never happened because they would not mate in the first place. I've also fixed other coding issues with WWD7, so redownload that and recode your pterosaurs from Pteranodon. I have also improved the call animation to blend better with the rest; the other anims were too much work for a quick fix. |

I got great news, the Pterodactylus, started a family tree, bred, got pregnant, made a nest, laid eggs and the eggs hatched pictures coming soon. Again thanks Hendrix for making this all possible. |

Here is an update on the Pterodactylus, a huge shout out to Hendrix for fixing the WWD Pteranodon, for now it can properly bred, get pregnant, make a nest, lay eggs and the eggs hatch into babies. First image shows as follows: Pterodactylus is pregnent and "Going to lay eggs", also you can see in the msgs an earlier Pterodactylus laid eggs and of their babies hatched. ![]() Second image shows the nest (nest size is smaller than Coelophysis nest) that was made by the Pterodactylus and more Pterodactylus hateched from an earlier one (they lay about 3-4 eggs) ![]() Lastly here is the Pterodactylus family (Adult M/F and Young) ![]() Extremely happy about all this going so well, especially now they can breed. One more thing when placed it may take time for the all the above to happen. All that has to be is tested is growing up to Juvenile and then to Adult. |

Nice to see yu got it to work! BTW please don't double (or triple in this case) post unless it's been 24 hours since your last post, if you want to add something to a previous post just use the edit button. |

Sorry about that, I was overly excited. I do have a question, right now the Pterodactylus have a young, juvenile and adult stages, I'd like to add an old stage, is there a tutorial to do so? Thanks |

I thought double+ posting was not against the rules in your own design topic. |

Sorry for going a little off topic, but was the Pteranodon breeding issue related to it's coding or was there a bug with the model causing it? Because the Pterodon is fixed, but I've tried the rhamphorhynchus and azhdarcho, and they still don't breed. |

So, while it is allowed, there's still a "cooldown" between posts. |

Hendrix only said he fixed the Pteranodon not the Rhamphorhynchus and Azhdarcho, you could just use the fixed Pteranodon coding to fix them if you want. Edited by iba50000, Mar 1 2018, 08:21 AM.
