Hi, all. My name is Zid (or Zidders) and for a brief period back in 2010 I was a community manager for Blue Fang games. I helped them with their Zoo Kingdom Facebook game and most of what I did was play the game, test out a few early builds of various animals/exhibits and mostly talk to people in the community and try to help them solve whatever issues they were having. There were about seven of us cm's total and of those seven I'm still friends with all but one of them. It was a lot of fun despite some of the frustration (Facebook didn't make retaining people easy) and I was sad when the game ended up being shut down. The Zoo Tycoon series has always been pretty special to me. I've been playing it since it came out and miss having a decent title. I also miss being able to play the first two games but alas it's a bit of a pain to get stuff running plus the games haven't aged all that well. That said I've seen some amazing builds here. It's making me want to try and get a of a copy of ZT2 and try my hand at making a zoo for old times sake. I've heard rumors of a few zoo management games being worked on so hopefully at some point in the future this genre will live again. Thanks for keeping the spirit alive and happy zookeeping! |

I'm not sure if you wanted physical or digital, but I think ZT2:UC is being sold on Amazon right now if you were interested in getting a copy: LINK I can say, ZT2 is a game that has yet to get old since it's been released. The modding community does a fantastic job of keeping the game alive. |
