There are extinct species in the upcoming Noah movie. I'm glad they didn't include non-avian dinos...

God told noah to bring EVERYTHING into the ark. He would not even allow the door to shut if Noah did not listen.

@razial the first pic of your last post is basically how everyone with a logical mind feels.
Really? Hmm...I wasn't aware Noah was required to bring fossilized bones onto the Ark with him.

EDIT: My apologies for what I posted about the movie in general. That was just my offence at Phoenix's post, not my opinion on the actual movie.

The best way to not get your heart broken, is pretending you don't have one.

He was meant to bring two of every living species in the age HE LIVED in, not what is alive today. The bible does not state to my knowledge that the animals on this arc could not go extinct, so therefore the Dodo bird would be a perfect example.

The dodo was not yet extinct by the time the story presumably takes place, so yes: it is acceptable. Even Pleistocene megafauna I can live with, with the level of technology seen the story could feasibly take place near the end of the last ice age. Dinosaurs, however, were already extinct by 66 million years. Noah would just be taking skeletons on board. Before you decide to argue, is there really any evidence of interaction between humans and dinosaurs in the fossil record? Think about it.

To atheists squawking and the christians squawking back.

Both sides have some things that don't make sense.

First of all. The things atheists say about "God allows this but not that blah blah blah" is a load of dung.

During different times in the bible, certain rules were needed for that time. During the bible people sacrificed sheep but after jesus died they stopped. Rules change overtime.

Second Christians should not fire back saying "Your wrong yodie yodie yoda" Your ruining your reputation, insulting other people, and being disrespectful. Everyone has there right to believe and follow their own beliefs.

In closing

Macrauchenia for the win, there is a pair of them in the door way if anyone is wondering.
This combined with the environmental message shows while this is a definitely christian film, it's not ridiculous over the top ultra orthodox.

I like to think of it as "defending", but you call it what you want.

So WHY do you eat pork, trim your facial hair, and wear mixed fabrics but still oppose homosexuality? Several times YOU YOURSELF have said "Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve" here and at ZTV. ;) Hypocrisy much?

I can treat believers with some dose of common decency, I refuse to treat their cults with any sort of respect that they failed to deserve.

Meanwhile...
