Of course not... Ok, not my best shot. LaBelle's is located at the northern limit of southern Florida (Hendry county). Tropical enough to grow plenty of trees, far enough from the sea to don't get destroyed every months during summer. Stay off of the coast near the Hendry or Glades counties (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_counties_in_Florida) and your zoo should be fine.

Thank you I got my name, and location. Hendry County Zoo, in Clewiston Florida. I tried other counties but I don't like Polk County due to the aggressive tactics of its namesake and his slave use, and I wanted a city that was dense but not to dense and hasn't had any major hurricanes which eliminated Glades. Hardee County had hurricane in 2004. Highlands is to mountainy. The only city in Holmes county is working on a zoo but is making it super hard for the company so I don't want to go there storyline wise. Lake County had disney history, mountainous terrain, and storm history, on top of a bad name since I don't want to have tons of lakes. I want rivers and swamps. Lake Butler is Union counties only city and its mostly prison workers. I hate taking the same county as yours as I feel thats trespassing but it will probably be months before I even finish showing Grzimek Tierpark and then I can start working on it as I still have to finish Scottsdale on top of Grzimek. |

That's great to hear! Recent zoo-building news for me includes news from the Falklands, Magellan SeaLife Center has been renamed to FILM, or the Falkland Islands Living Museum. |

Arbordale Zoo probably won't be updated for a while - I've showcased all that has been built so far and haven't been interested in playing lately since the game has become so laggy, probably because it has SO MUCH FOLIAGE. Stupid North Carolina, having to have so many trees. Should have built it in Antarctica. |

I've finally delved into Riddle's Wildlife park. The first part is nearly done! I like to use so much foliage that to prevent lag I've broken up everything into several small parts, I'm also building "shells" of other exhibits to create the illusion that everything is on the same map.

As is mine, even though each map of Arbordale has only like three exhibits each (except the main one, which is full) Even new games lag for me now, because i have so many save files. |
