It depends on the feel you want to give it to the zoo... if it is jungle tropical kind of thing i woul go using a tropical rainforest map. If you want a something more like tropical coasts i would use maybe coast or reef. You can also use grassland and build a tropical zoo over it like i'm doing with my zoo xD

Thanks ZC :D I'm probably going to end up doing the tropical coast, so I'll experiment with it on Monday, thanks again!

Does anybody have any ideas for a Daeodon exhibit?

an open area with some foliage for shade and some fallen logs or rocks for scratching should work, maybe an area for mud bath. remember to use a strong fence, you don't want it to escape.

Maybe plain grassland or scrub dirt will work.

I'd go for scrub dirt, as is similar to the ones they used to live, i'd wouldn't plant a lot foliage (trunks, logs...) because they probably would destroy them, but you could plant some big trees that the animals wouldnt reach, you may make a small pool for them to refresh and maybe adding some big rocks and a mud spot would fit good.

so, i'm trying to add a playground to my next zoo, but i'm not sure about the results so far. here's what i've made, on the left there's an area where the audults can rest, and the actual playground is on the right:

Hmm... well, I think some of the stuff is too far apart, and maybe you could add some tall trees for shade. Benches and trash cans would also help fill up some of the space.

What do you guys think of this foliage/building combo?

Probably wetlands, since it lived along with the spinosaurus.
