Manati is simpler because you don't need a land area. Just a big pool, with an underwater and upwater viewing and i've even some manaties exhibits that allow guests to interact with them. Something like a touch pool. Spoiler: click to toggle You can even combine them with other animal species, like tropical fishes or turtles. |

Well, yes I think they do. If your enclosure is big enough, you can also just make a building in the middle of it. Otherwise, just place a wall with gates in it, add two or three tiles of roof, block the view through the gates (with another wall for example) and done, you have an indoor enclosure without wasting much space. |

Yes, though really just for the winter months to get out of the cold. I'm working on a South American tropical hall (similar to the Dallas World Aquarium) with a river exhibit on the bottom and various other animals through it, any tips on what trees and other foliage to use? If there is something the game is lacking is good tropical foliage. I have the same problem with my jaguar exhibit. Is not that there isn't much tropical plants, is just that they all have different tones of green and they don't match with each other and everything looks aweful when is all together. Plus there are some important plants that you see in every tropical exhibit in RL that we don't have for the game. And forget about tropical trees... other than palms we have almost anything. Fortunally, when Eryel's plan pack comes out (in the very distant future) there is going to be a lot of great tropical plants and trees (i made sure to choose several of those plants as part of my award) |

for ground foliage, you can use the Monstera from WOI and ZD ferns and logs. |

I found the monstera to be really hard to combine to be honest. I think it need a darker version. |

then there's the Battlefield foliage import pack, it has a similar plant that is darker. i honestly prefer brighter colours (they make the exhibit look more exotic IMO) but everyone has it's own opinion. |

Is not so much about the color it self, is juts that i can't combine it with anythiing and make it look good. But i have that problem with most of the tropical foliage. |
