Im looking for a new combos of fences for the next section of LaBelle's. I planned to use some ramdom ones too, but Id like to also have to start with 2-3 kinds like I did for the Malagasy critters section (not entirely showed yet).

It's gonna be a a trip around different Asian islands : Japan, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Borneo, etc. LaBelle's is located in South florida, so lot of outdoor exhibits. Any suggestions? :)

I got an idea (hope youll like it :$ ) : Ill named a part of this section after the member who gave me the idea I finaly decide to use. Ill also create a little story to explain it why it is named that way.

Any suggestions?

I think if you used white building pack, a dark roof, and the dark wood building set. Maybe that and a red fence.

Idk if you have Snowleo's Desert theme-pack-thing? But IMO that's perfect for creating indoor savannah exhibits, even though I don't have it myself lol

i was actually talking about how to build them ...
could i make a single large area for all hoofed animals (zebras, giraffes, antelopes ...) or they should have their own ?
but thanks for the zoo building tips ;)

Yeah they could all be in the same exhibit as long as they are all found in the same location in RL. Just know some icons for locations are wrong.

Furka : I suggest you choose 3 to 5 species (birds and mammals) of different size and niche for one huge savannah exhibit. For the other, go with a single-specie exhibit or two specie-exhibit. ;)

Any asian suggestions guys? :)

Japan: sitka deer, serow and macaque

Sri-Lanka: leopard and mugger

Philippines: i would go with the flying fox chucha made at ZH

Malaysia: tapir, gibbon and maybe some birds and smaller mammal.

and don't forget peafowls, tigers and elephants

back to me: so zebras and giraffes can share an indoor area ?

Thanks Furka, but I already have my species list completed. Most animals you suggested are already on it. :3

I am looking for ideas on how should I build this section : fences, foliage, but mostly fences.

About your question, my guess is they could share an indoor part but would be probably better with seperated night quarters.

If its actually in asia I'd stick to the wild china pack and my light green leafy tree that looks like a pine tree but is not.

Its not in asia, its in LaBelle's, Florida.

But I could definitely try your suggestions for some exhibit. :D

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

A real park would probably have separate indoor areas for giraffes and zebras. My zoo does as well.

Yep in that case I'd include lots of bamboo and some of the scenery from the China theme pack.

Question... I want to make background panels for some of my indoor exhibits, but I'm torn between two "versions" of the panels... The first is just a straight stock photo of a jungle, desert, etc., and the second is the same photo with an "artistic" filter applied to make it look more like a painting. I'm not sure which would be more realistic for a zoo; a gigantic blown-up photo for an indoor exhibit background or something that looks like it might have been painted onto the walls.

What do you guys think?
