It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

![]() Do you guys think the Rubber tree, (Tree in the center with the large roots) conflicts with the other trees, like does it look out of place? If not I'd like to add it to a foliage combination. Edited by Admiral General Aladeen, Jan 20 2014, 07:34 PM.

It does kind of look out of place. Not because of the colors (the colors blend together pretty good) but because it looks like a tropical tree while the rest of the foliage gives a more temperate feeling. |

Yes it looks perfect! Although i think a bit of variation in the color scheme will make it better. Maybe some flowers? |

I think the snakes can get out of those exhibits quite easily, and the reticulated pytons might need more space. |

I love the concept of the walls being rocks, but i agree with Furka that the exhibits look really small. |

Don't worry about the snakes escaping Furka, there will be a roof on top of it. And about the space, I'll see what I can do with the reticulated python exhibit. |

What foliage combo would be best for a typical American city zoo on the east coast e.g. New York or even Chicago |

Well definitely temperate themed. The AD Red pine would work nicely. I believe theres a few other pine trees in some pro cycler pack at Gaia that would also look nice. Maybe a few maple and birch trees would also fit. |

So i finally started building the amazonian aquarium i planned for so long After a few issues with ground (as expected) i build three tanks: one for black arowanas, one for arapaimas and black pacus and one for the red tailed catfish. The tanks are rather large, so i'm looking for other fishes/animals that i could combine with those. So, what animals can i use to put in the same tank with: 1. Black arowana 2. Arapaima + Pacu 3. Red Tailed Catfish |

I do think you can actually combine all those together in the same tank. Usually when I make the amazonian section of my aquarium I split it in the following tanks: - Big guys (pimas, arowanas, catfish, pacu and stingrays) - electric eel - cichlids (oscar and co.) - piranha - small fishes (tetras, discus, angelfish, plecos) And I usually add some reptiles and amphibians to the mix. |
