I'd go for the actual photo, since that looks the most realistic. It depends for what kind of exhibit though. I'd certainly go for a photo if it's for a bird or reptile. If it's a mammal, I'd just see what looks best. |

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

I personally don't like mural backgrounds. They look tacky to me. Even in real zoos I usually think a neutral, dark-colored back wall looks best. |

i'm rebuilding map 1 and 3 of CZG, pretending an earthquake hit the park. this is the chance to edit some of the old exhibits. i've already rebuilt the gibbon aviary with glass (thanks CRG), now i'd like to know: are Sophie's horse fences a good choice for the axis and blackbuck exhibit ? |

I wouldn´t use them, but they would be ok. Maybe some type of hidden barrier and the AD San Diego Pack fence for the people part of the exhibit

Deer and antelope would be able to jump over them easily. |

So, started my Florida's zoo! It looks good, have a great specie list but one thing is bugging me: foliage, I'm with this now: -Californian Oak -Guioa -Karaka -Mangrove -Bean Pant But, it looks quite incomplete and I'm thinking in put the Golden Bamboo from Wildes China. It looks very good with the combo, but the problem is if it's common have a bamboo in Florida. So, it's good? Furka, yes that fence could be used those are quite good animals. But, one thing for prevent attacks and escapes you should put a foliage barrier on it, a barrier with logs, grass, rocks, but nothing that reduce the view It's my tip

The oak isn't a good choice, but bamboo should be fine. |

Florida's foliage is more pines and cypress over oaks and other broadleaf trees. |

Bamboo may not be native to Florida, but it grows just about anywhere it's been imported as a "decorative" plant. Grows, and grows, and grows. Kind of a pest species, really. |

Not if you have something to eat it. ![]() But yeah... it's an annoying pest. |
